Darin and the guys at Pop-A-Lock Ann Arbor were great. Went in to get a broken key out of my ignition and they took care of me with excellent customer service and supplied me with a new key and even a spare key for my doors. For the little time I had to wait, Darin was in the shop keeping a conversation with me and I felt very welcomed. They essentially take care of all locksmith needs from what I saw, 110% recommended!

Stellar! Lisa oversaw the entire timing and operation with incredible communication and professionalism, yet, she was very personable! Justin arrived a few minutes early and also demonstrated pure professionalism. 15 minutes later he was handing us the new set of keys. He had to measure the inside core of the lock, cut the keys and then program the chip for both. Thank you both for your attentiveness.

The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable and were able to figure out my malfunctioning car alarm easily and for less than what I was originally quoted. If youre looking for a locksmith to make it easy, quick, and affordable this is who you need to call. They really went above and beyond for me, I thought that my key fob was the reason for my car not starting but it wasnt. Instead of just leaving after replacing the key, they did everything they could to help diagnose my issue. I could not be happier with the quality of service, the timeliness (I was told 4:30, and 4:30 on the DOT they were here.), and how friendly they are. If you need locksmithing service, I PROMISE you that this is who you need to call.

I'd give 6 stars if I could. I had my car keys and wallet stolen, and Pop-A-Lock had amazing customer service and was able to get someone out to rekey my house on the day I made the call, and the car rekeying was more affordable than what the dealerships could offer.Very professional on the phone and in person. I hope I don't need locksmithing services again anytime soon, but if I do I would definitely call them right away.

I honestly dont know what I would have done without these guys. I lost my keys in a store on a Friday close to 6pm. I was visiting from out of town with no spare or any options, the dealership told me Id have to wait until Monday for a spare...Darrin came out after hours from across town because he didnt want to leave me stranded over the weekend got my door open and was able to make me 2 keys on the spot. Top notch service and good guys overall.

Convenient, quick, great service! Very nice and kind guys. We needed a new (second) key fob for our car to be programmed and laser cut. They came as a team to our home with two vehicles. I contacted Darin and got a quote for opening an antique dresser. Set up a time and they arrived on time and assessed the problem. Darin and his assistant Jon literately hand carved a barrel key to fit the dresser. They took pride in their work and are very accomplished in their trade. It was almost like they enjoyed the challenge of making the key to fit the lock. It works perfectly. They even took a picture of the key so that in the future if it was lost they could more easily make another. They charged the quoted amount. Very polite and honest tradesmen.
