I called Door Doctor yesterday as I could not lift the door and cables were off. They responded immediately with service the next day. We have used this company for our 25 years in the house. Always excellent with responsiveness and great friendly service. We were not disappointed again. Dan was our service technician, and he made quick asessment of issue, quoted and began work. He walked me through other issues we might expect over the course of years, and upon my request furnished me with info for new door. Recorded measurements and other details so when I call later, they can make it quick and easy on me. He was prideful of himself, his knowledge, and the company he represents. Incredible service. Thank you Dan and Door Doctor. We appreciate company's like you...so much!

I bought a high end garage door opener with a lifetime warranty .I can't get out of the garage 3rd time technicians been out to fix same problem called them and no response back for 3 days.

I decided to go with door doctor because our existing door had a sticker on it that said Door Doctor. We were in a bind when my garage door literally fell off the track and hanging only on one side, trapping my vehicle inside. I needed it taken care of fast and didnt have time shop around. I called them, they had Mike come out within two hours and, followed by another couple of guys to help him, they reset my existing door so that I was able to get my car out of the garage and told me that they would come back the next day to install the new door. The following day, Mike came back with another guy; installed The new door, tested it, explained everything and left. After they left my husband noticed that the door was slightly off center because the white strip frame on one side of the door was not being covered up by the OLD existing weatherstrip. I called them the following day and told them that I was concerned about the door being slightly off center with a slight gap on one side. They sent Jake out that day, he made adjustments to the track and made improvements. He also said that new weather strips all around should be installed as part of the price we paid. They ordered the new weather strips and came back within 3 days and installed them. They covered the door edge all around COMPLETELY! My husband and I are very happy and pleased with the new door and their professional service. Irma from the office made communication very easy and made sure we were happy customers! I would definitely recommend this company. Thank you Door Doctor for making this a pleasant experience.

Very bad first experience, overcharged and underserved sums it up. The garage door came off the track and they were good about getting it back in the track, but my underserved issue #1 is they did not power the opener to test it, and now I have to open it manually. Issue #2 is they left greasy handprints all over the panel they had to reattach. I am thankful they were willing to revisit to clean the grease stains off the beige paint, but in doing so they used some kind of abrasive and now the color change stands out even worse than the greasy fingerprints. See the pic so you can judge for yourself. So far they've left me with a door to open manually and a paint job/ pressure cleaning job to do. This is what $260 buys you.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jake from Door Doctor. I opened mygarage door this morning and when I went to put it down it would not close. I had this same problem a week ago and called a garage door company (which will remain nameless) and was told they couldn't make it out that day (it was a Friday night but could come first thing Monday morning). They came and said the door needed new cables of course I agreed to replace them. This morning the same thing happened. I called the company again and was told I needed a new opener that mine was a Stanley which had gone out of business in 1998.. so 30 years old. First of all my door was a LiftMaster ... thought I needed a second opinion.Today was my lucky day and I had the good fortune of calling Door Doctor. Norma answered the phone and explained she would send someone out to look at it to make sure I needed a all new unit or fix my old one. She was wonderful. Jake showed up on time and ready to check things out. Within 10 minutes he told me all I needed was a gear replacement which was about 1/3 the price of a new unit.I was so impressed by his honesty, professionalism and friendliness. He explained everything he did and showed me the part he replaced. I would give this company a 100% out of 100% rating. I am so happy with their work I felt compelled to write a review. Thank you Door Doctor, Norma and Jake it was a pleasure working with you.

Oh my goodness the worst day of the winter weather on November 11th 2019 veterans Day and this company was on time for a 11:00am repair job in Utica Mi. He came all the way from Milford Mi. To fix my broken spring on the garage door !!! He had it up and running in a half an hour, plus he made the executive decision to bring the heavy duty springs along with him for an extra amount of $50.00 buck and I said for sure I would rather have the heavy duty springs with the 3 year warranty that come with it. My car was still in the garage on the Thursday before the spring broke and I had no way to get it out of the garage the Door was to heavy. But this guy showed up Monday morning and lifted the garage up before he fixed it with one hand. I was amazed how fast he had it all fixed. I would highly recommend this company hands down !!!

My side door was installed incorrectly several years ago. Since then, I have had it repaired a couple of times, but with no real luck. There was a decent gap along the side letting in a lot of air. I called Door Doctor to come out and try to fix it. Mark came today. He was nice, timely, efficient, professional, and did a fantastic job. He fine tuned it several times to make sure it was just right. No gap! Very fair price. I would use them again and request Mark for door repairs. He was great.

You cannot beat the service and expertise that this company brings to the table. The company I work for has a very large entry door - it's seriously a beast - the wind kept catching it and breaking it. We got so fed up with trying to repair it with other mediocre companies...that's when we found Door Doctor. Mike and Andy were able to repair the door and to this day, 4 years later, we haven't had one problem with it. They were professional and courteous not only to our staff but to the clients that came in and out of the door while they were repairing it. Listen, you could hire a fly by night hack company...but why when Door Doctor is right around the corner? I'll never use another door company personally or professionally. 10/10 would recommend.

My very old Craftsman garage door opener broke on a Saturday and I called the Door Doctor, based on the great reviews I found online. We worked on a day that worked for both of us for a service appointment. They said they would be here between 8-11, Mister Paul, as my two-year old called him, was here at 8:15. Mister Paul looked at the situation, was prepared (had parts to fix), and was here for an hour and a half, ensuring everything worked perfectly before he left. It's very hard to find someone who does what they say they'll do, for the amount of money they initially quoted, in the amount of time they said they would need, even given unexpected circumstances. I highly recommend Door Doctor - ask for Mister Paul, if you can get him!

I was not able to open my garage door. There where no access to the garage through another door or window. Also the emergency cord was not helping.First I called the famous Pontiac Door, which is listed in my condo association as a preferred garage door service provider. I explained them the situation and they told me that nothing they can do.Something like 'Open your garage and then call'.Then I contacted Door Doctor Service. It was completely another story. They listen, gave me the options and made an appointment. The next day a real professional John came. It took about 5-10 minutes for him to open the door. He spent another 20-30 minutes to make sure that everything works fine.Excellent job John and Door Doctor Service, Inc! Thank you
