Ruth helped me get my car out of impound after I had a seizure while driving. I was incredibly stressed from the night before, but she really took care of us and helped us get it off the lot.Unfortunately, I find that $398 is quite the unfair price. My car only veered into the side of the road and they only had it for less than 12 hours. It is was a small Kia. No damages seem to be done to the vehicle, so thats good and I am happy with that.I think Ruth was awesome and funny, with a special sense of humor. I wish their pricing was better (she cant control that). Thank you Ruth

I would avoid doing business here, after what I witnessed on 2/5/2019 at 2pm. An Adlers Semi Tow Truck was traveling eastbound on Walton Blvd, then north bound on Baldwin. This driver had no regards to the safety and lives of those around them. This truck was traveling at speeds nearly 10mph or more above the posted speed limits. Driving through curves recklessly and at times appeared to almost lose control of the trailer behind them. In addition, the semi truck was tailgating other vehicles, making dangerous lane changes without turn signals. And cornering through an intersection that, again, almost resulted in loss of control of the truck. Bottom line, this company seemingly has no regards to their employees driving this reckless and dangerous. It is with utter luck, this semi truck did not kill anyone yesterday. Sad representation of this business. Reckless would sum up this company.

I run a trucking company and I have worked with Adlers at least a dozen times and they have always treated us good and took care of us in a timely matter. I would recommend them to anyone. They even came over and moved our generator when another company wanted to charge us a ridiculous rate to move it 5 feet.

They harass residents at condo complex. They put stickers on vehicles that are not illegally parked. My comlex allows us to park in front of our unit but not on the other side of the parking lot where the cans go but my vehicle was still vandalized by these people with their ugly stickers. Tell your spotters to read the posted signs!!!!!!!!

My daughter was in an accident while we were out on town. The Police called Adlers to have the car towed. It was Sunday and we didnt know what the extent of the damage was, so the dispatcher told us it would be best to have the car towed back to the yard until Monday. He couldnt tell me how much the tow fee would be, because his computer system was off, but he said the storage fee would be $20 a day, which seemed fair enough. When we called on Monday to pay for the tow and have it towed to a shop 1.5 miles away from the yard, they told us that we had to come in with our registration and pay in person (we live 40 min away, hassle). When we got there they said it was $150 for the accident tow fee (ok, fine) $20 storage fee (ok, knew that) $40 to tow it to the shop 1.5 miles away (fine) $50 for using their flat bed, and then another $45 fee just to give it back to us! Then, another 3% to use your credit card. I feel misled and completely taken advantage of. Nothing I can do but let everyone know that I am an unhappy costumer.

My son got into a wreck in a Tesla the Oakland County Sheriff department called adlers. The first driver showed up and told his dispatcher that it was a Tesla and he told my son he has never towed one before and he called another driver. Dan showed up car was on the ground didnt damage my car any more I will call them every time and ask for Dan he is the best I have had him before and he is so nice. Thank you Dan I know it was a hard hook for you with the Tesla being on the ground

had the front tire and wheel and hub fall off my car. it was sitting in middle of street... i called adlers they said they would be here soon. they showed up, wanted to pull my car up from behind which would have damaged the car even more.(not the already broken ball joint, i know that was already broken and he didnt want to pull it a couple inches which might have been fine, it would have had to been pulled AT LEAST 17-20 feet(in order to get entire car up on flatbed on that messed up wheel damaging the tire potentially and who knows what underneath that was sitting on the cement)...(just look up what a car with a broken ball joint looks like then imagine towing it backwards on the busted wheel on pavement for 15 to 20 feet. it doesnt take 20 years of towing experience to see thats a bad idea and that there has to be a better way (turns out there is...it is called a ball joint skate, its about 100 bucks).. i told the guy my concerns he said it was the only way he would do it, i asked him if they would be responsible for damages... he said no and that i had to call someone else and just left. hugely unprofessional and i got the same treatment from the office when i called.. i was told the driver had 20+years of experience ... UPDATE: other tow company came out with a Ball Joint Skate (which adlers does not have and was reason driver could not do what i wanted) and did what i needed and wanted almost immediately with no problems and no additional damage.

Terrible customer service. Pete ....the name that was provided whom is the ower or boss was very abrasive. He was very rude when asked to come look at the damage that was incurred by one of his drivers to my friends vehicle. Upon hooking her car up he was going to just pull off! When prior to him hooking up the vehicle we asked for his insurance information. After running toward the truck and asking for the information he said that he told us he was just moving it. He did no such thing because he took a phone call and walked off to his truck. He then stopped and returned to talk to us where he proceeded to be rude and presumptuous. I could only feel like this was because we were a group of three young African Americans. When looking for a towservice please do more research and find a comparable alternative.The below response is certainly indicative of the customer service provided.

The driver Daniel Conway, yanked my vehicle onto his truck recklessly and ruined the fender near the door after I already told him the situation. He then proceeded to yell at me after I begged him to stop pulling. There are photos of the addition damage as well as a police report and other documentation of the damage. The owner JAMES REED also walked up on my friend when she mentioned an attorney to me. This is after he initially REFUSED to come see damage that HIS driver caused. On top of damaging my car further, he had the nerve to charge me for his horrible service. The customer service is abhorrent. General Towing managed to get my car several miles without damaging it initially. So I would suggest to anyone needing a tow, General Towing is the better option. Especially if you don't want to deal with uneducated grunts and men yelling and threatening a young woman.

Our 'skoolie' converted school bus, broke down on Sunday afternoon. I tried 18 different heavy duty tow companies who were unable to help, and then called Adlers. They had a driver out right away, worked under very stressful conditions to get our bus out of the dangerous (no shoulder) area it was in, and towed it all the way back to our mechanic near our home. The price was very reasonable and the driver was professional. We were very happy with their service. Hopefully our bus does not break down again, but if it does, we would call Adlers!

They work with the Oakland County Sheriff and it's not right. We had to sign over our car or pay them for towing and storage even though my husband specifically said don't tow his car after his accident. He had someone that was coming for it just as quickly.

Affiliated with the Oakland county sheriffs department. Our car was totaled after a woman made an illegal turn a week before Christmas. My husband shared his frustrations with the police officer while the police officer looked him in the eyes and wished our family of five, now with no vehicle, 'the best' and when my husband mentioned calling a towing company on his own the same police officer said they would take care of it. We ended being forced to pay double the money to this towing company the week of Christmas because of this despicable company and the despicable Oakland county sheriffs department. Shame on both of you, you money hungry pigs.

At first I was a little scared to use this towing service because of some of the negative reviews but I called in anyway for a short tow back to my house. Guy was friendly and pretty quick. If I have to use a service like this again I plan on calling these guys.

Garbage service and unfriendly staff.I called in for a simple tow. No tickets, no forced tow. Called in 9:30am, was told it would take an hour.Called at 11, told me there wasnt a service ticket yet.Called at 12, they told me 1-2pm it'd be done.Called at 4:30, the vehicle still wasn't picked up.Only until after 5:30pm did they tell me they were on their way.Thanks for wasting my time!
