Brain and Captain Lock Pick quickly have become my go to guys even though I live an hour and a half away and there are many locksmiths closer to me. It's never a good situation when you need to see a locksmith, but these guys made my difficult situation a little more bearable. I lost the keys to my Subaru and he was able to overnight a key blank, duplicate the Subaru high-security key profile and reprogram the keys to my car in a matter of minutes! The dealerships were little to no help and quoted my several thousand dollars and a few weeks to replace my keys. All of the other locksmiths said they don't have the capability to deal with the new technology and just when I was at my wit's end, Captain Lock Pick came to save the day for a very reasonable price.

Terrible service! We scheduled an appointment 3 weeks out to have our lock changed, verified the appointment the day before, but the guy did not show up at the appointed time. Over an hour later, still no one. No call, no nothing. I called and the guy didn't even know where the locksmith was or when he could get out to our place. Very disrespectful of customer's time to not even call to give an update of when we could expect him.We planned our whole day around that 11:30 appointment and couldn't spend the rest of the day waiting for him to show up. What's the point of making an appointment if the business doesn't keep to it? If you can't keep an appointment time, then give a window. Very disappointed with the level of service and do not recommend unless you're prepared to allot your whole day to the task.

On the second night of our new camper I managed to lock us out. I still have no idea how I did. Thank God for Brian Johnson. He came out in exactly the amount of time he said it would take, was quick, efficient, and kind. It's stressful to lock yourself out of anywhere, let alone with dark coming on while on vacation. I was so stressed out that I forgot about being a AAA member until we ran everything through the payment but he encouraged me to get reimbursed through AAA and changed the invoice to reflect the lock out as if it has been a car. Poor customer service. I was there while he worked and offered help since he was struggleing with our locks. He said he has never done that type before. It has been less than one month and the back service we dont use is loose are ready to fall out. He refuses to work on it or back his work and said to try to find another person.

Brian came and replaced and rekeyed my house. Did a great job. However, later, I discovered one key was incorrectly cut...small problem, however Brian did not return phone calks, voicemail was full, and no response to emails. I thought he is out of business. He should have stayed in touch with his computer (website) and phone voice mail. Upon his 'personal' trip out of town, he responded, but too late to correct the rekey. I would suggest making sure he is going to be available.

WOW! So just had delivered with ONE key a 2012 Suburban 3 hours ago from Texas and long short is the dang thing locked the door on my with my child in the car after my first ride(really, my Lex 430 2004 can not do that) Brian was there in 20 minutes and could not of been nicer. My daughter was laughing the whole time we waited and if not obviously I would of smashed the window. Long short: Brian; I found out is a small business owner and this is his business and he is under 25 YO. So very professional and I give him much credit on many levels. I am in charge of managing a storage locker facility in the Traverse City area. Occasionally we need to change the locks on the lockers but this time we were updating the whole facility.
