Love this place! I have a cabin in Backus and this is where I stop when I need anything! Full grocery store with a meat area. Anything from fishing, paints, bullets, home repair, outdoor equipment. Basically a True Value mixed with a Grocery store. They also have gas and propane.

My fiance and I stopped in there today just to check it out. Lots of awesome items and we had plannned to come back and shop later today after an appt but we noticed 2 employees kept following us and watching us. I understand being aware of your customers but we weren't the only ones in there but we were thel only ones being watched like that. They lost a very good sale... I will never go back again and i will Express this to everyone i know

This is a great little store that handles everything, including gift items, groceries, clothing, hardware, and outdoor gear. The employees provide great customer service with a smile. I wish they had a wider selection of groceries, but the store is already full from wall to wall.

Groceries, hardware, housewares, sporting goods, bait, clothing, equipment rental, gas and propane all in a tiny town close to nowhere. Selection is adequate, but considering the location it is surprisingly good. Prices are good especially considering how much a trip to Brainerd costs. I get a lot of stuff there. It is 9 miles from my cabin and I love having it there just in case. The hours are good too.

We were camping and fishing nearby. We had to stop in on two separate occasions for gear and groceries. They had everything we needed, and we couldn't help but walk out with a few things extra. Easy access right on the highway. Nice clean store with a friendly staff.

Went for some groceries. They had what was needed. Went to the hardware dept for screen corners they didn't have the correct size, but they ordered them in. Always friendly and very helpful!

Rented a trencher and upon getting it home starter cord broke first pull had to drive back 10 miles he fixed it right away but did not discount any for inconvenience of coming back to repair unit even gas money would have been nice
