Ignore all these 5 star reviews about service service doesn't justify price gouging. I mean if you are in a bind you can usually find what you need here just expect to pay double to triple from anywhere else. If you have time it will certainly be worth the drive to fleet farm or somewhere closer towards the cities and you will save considerable money far making it worth you're time.

I've been in there several times over the years and have always gotten great service. Over this past week I think I was in there 10 times... every single time the guys and gals knew exactly how to help me. Tom is super knowledgeable about all kinds of things :)

Friendly employees, fairly large selection of hardware items and homewards type items. Cashier had issues making change but when I pointed out he was wrong he fixed his error. Overall nice little store.

The Belle plaine co-op hardware store or whatever you call it. It's more geared to Farmers and horse people not the average person. You can't get a toaster you can not get a egg beater you have to go to Shakopee Minnesota oh that's right the Dollar general store will be coming to Belle plaine Minnesota in the very near future.they will have a lot of things. Many people complain all the time they have to go to Ace hardware to get something. and I cannot believe they don't hear that they probably just plug their ears.

( Update: The store manager did called me and apologized for the way I was treated in the store and told me I would get store credit for the camera. So I went from two stars to four stars. Cant give 5 stars just because of how poorly I was treated and how much of my time was waisted by the other employees but do appreciate the manger making things right.) I bought a deer camera here. I programmed it and set it up. It didnt work. I tried for two weeks and could not get it to work. Ok, no problem, I have the receipt, Ill just return it. Nope! When I went to return it they said they dont take returns unless you have the original packaging. I said, Ive been fussing with this thing for two weeks to get it to work, I dont have the packaging but I have a receipt. I asked if I could at least get store credit. Nope! Now I am stuck with this thing because of the simple act of throwing the wrapping away. This is the most backward, small town, off the grid return policy Ive seen in a long time. Something Ive seen in third-world countries or Flea Markets but not at an established retailer. The lady that was working with me rudely told me, You dont need to shop there if I dont like our policies. I finally said, Im leaving my name and number, please have the main manager call me when he returns. That was two weeks ago. I guess when you are the only option in a small town you can treat customers poorly and it wont affect business. If a real retailer with modern policies and a customer service protocol moves into town this backward store is going to start losing customer. The most backward thing is, I was in there all week buying stuff for the lot I just bought in town. I must have spent almost $300. The same people saw me come and go and buy stuff all week. But they didnt hesitate for a second to lose me as a customer. Bad, Bad customer service and retention. Just so backward. Im giving two stars because there was one nice young guy there that helped me once. Otherwise one star.

I have never been treated so badly. I simply needed a key made for my place of work. Like most businesses the key says 'do not copy'. I enquired about what kind of paperwork is necessary in order to be able to make a copy. In the enquiring conversation I disclosed why the key was needed and where my place of employment is located. Because I commute apparently I am super sketchy. I was accused of trying to take advantage of a small town and was told they weren't dealing with this. I freaking live here. I have for almost 4 years. If you thought it was strange, ask me for an ID and business card, or simply say no. Politely. Apparently if your not a towny you arent trusted. I wont continue to do business there. They dont value or respect customers.

It's a place that sells hardware and feed for your pets. The prices are not bashful. You can go and drive 20+ miles to Home Depot or Lowes for a cheaper price. Then you lose time and gas money. So I leave it up to you.
