My cars ignition got stuck in the accessory position while the vehicle was running and I had no ability to turn it off. I called, they said that they should be able to fix it. I brought in my car, the customer service was wonderful and they fixed my ignition switch quickly and for a great price! Love this place, will always come back and refer them when to anyone looking for a locksmith.

Had a slight problem today. The reprogramming of the key fob took longer than expected due to having a newer car/push to start. After trying to reprogram my car for about an hour in the January cold, my car ended up dying and not being able to start, leaving me stranded on my lunch break. One of the employees gave me a jump, and i was just about to leave unsatisfied when a younger employee started his shift and jumped in to help. After he tinkered for a bit more, he ended up successfully reprogramming my fob/car starter. Due to the long wait, I received hefty a discount on my total price which was really nice and very fair. Even though it was not a smooth errand, giving 5 stars due to the willingness to help out, find solutions, and make it right for the customer in the end. All in all i got what I came for and it was a lot cheaper then getting ripped at the dealership. Support these fine people!

We had a 'stolen Keys' incident and needed to replace the geys to one of our cars. I stopped in and the told me exactly the documents that I would need to get replacement keys made. I came in the next morning and Jacob got my paperwork going and in no time at all I had my new GM factory keys and was on my way!!! I even had some good conversation and a couple cookies while I waited. You hardly ever call the 'key place ' unless there is a problem. This crew has saved our family many times and not only do I appreciate them, I highly recommend their services !!!

Fantastic service - We needed a new electronic car key. I was able to buy a key from Amazon and Minnesota Locks programmed it for a very fair price. Other locksmiths would not program the key or wanted high prices. The auto dealership wanted a huge price. Minnesota Locks is the best!

Had a 2nd key cut and programmed for my truck. In and out in 20 minutes. I purchased a key online beforehand. They couldn't get the buttons to program, but got the key itself cut and programmed at half the cost of the dealer.When I got home, I tapped the key on the steering wheel for a while, and then the buttons were able to program. That's my fault for buying aftermarket key online.

Great service! I bought Key FOBs online thinking I could program them myself but unfortunately I needed to have two working FOBs to do it. Dealer wanted a small fortune to fix my problem and gave no guarantees. MN Locks programmed them for a very reasonable fee and I was in and out in no time. Well done Darryl and crew!

We've used Minnesota Locks numerous times over the past 20+ years as normal home / car owner(s). They have ALWAYS PERFORMED BEYOND EXPECTATIONS. Recently had to have a Honda key repaired. I saw them driving by on Roberts Street, looked them up and did a service request on their website. They called me shortly after and told me to stop by, no appointment needed. I stopped that afternoon to get a key cut and a remote programmed that I bought on the internet. They were busy, but got it done and programmed my existing remote that wasn't working correctly. Super nice people. Good, quick service, and really affordable. A key, fob programming, and a fob battery all in was around $30! I know where I'm going from now on for this sort of thing!

Pretty sure this is a family owned, local operation! Justin and the woman that is there are so nice and helpful. They were able to come to my house to make and program a new key for me and ordered a new key fob. When my key fob came in they programmed that without charging me fee upon fee for their time and effort. I prepaid one , reasonable amount and they stuck to it! I am really impressed. Their distributor has my specific fob on back order and Justin is going to switch them out when it comes in, no hassles, not arguments, just making it right! I highly recommend these guys!
