A friend of mine recommended them to tow my vehicle when it was in an accident, it was a great experience, the driver was extremely polite and understanding he also told me the shop I was at had misinformed me and set me up with a friend of his to repair the damages I was told weren't possible...I HIGHLY recommend J's Southland Tow! For service and value you would be hard pressed to find better!

Very happy with the service I received from Southland tow today. Mike did a fantastic job taking care of my pickup, and was able to drop it perfectly through my narrow garage door. He was prompt, professional, and friendly through the whole process.

I was off the side of the driveway stuck in mud. I called several towing companies for pricing and estimated times of arrival. One local company said it would cost more because they would have to ' winch ' the car up out of the mud but in other words a ' red flag ' that they could not do it for a reasonable price. I called back to ' J's Southland Tow ' and told the lady I would like to use their services. I requested the driver please call me when they are near to the house. I went out to put something in the car and the truck was pulling up. Bam...no hour wait time for me. I recognized ' Jeremy ' as he is a customer at the business I work at. I was talking with ' Taylor ' and in a matter of 3 - 4 minutes the car was out of the mud and back on the driveway. No ' winching ', no added charges. Just a super fast and friendly service that I would not have received from the other company. It cost me less than what was initially quoted. I'm another satisfied customer who will be recommending your company!!

I ended up in the ditch, with my car on its side. I was pretty sure that pulling it out of the ditch would do more damage than going in. This company did an excellent job. They gave a me a jump and helped me check out the car before I drove it out of their lot. Their prices were very reasonable and I will be recommending these guys and their wonder customer service to others. Also they arrived at the scene less than 30 minutes from my time of my accident. I was at least that far away from Raymore if not further. Great response time.

I have to say I was upset that it took so long, but not so much I would have called someone else. I understand people get busy. So I want to give a shout out to Donny. From the moment he showed up until the time we pulled out to head to my house, it was literally like 10 minutes if that. Donny also takes very good care of his truck. It was very clean and had an almost new smell about it. Thanks guys, I appreciate you picking me and my vehicle up and getting us home safe.

If your car was impounded bring exact change, I'm sure they would be super friendly if they were helping out a regular customer that needed a tow, but completely D!kchead$ when they know you got impounded and need the vehicle back. Will never use their service.

During the last snow storm Js Southland tow saved my day! Despite traffic being crazy and the roads being terrible they got to me within an hour of calling and got my car home amazingly fast! Jamie was a fantastic driver and I appreciate him so much!! Thank you!!!!

I understand they were extremely busy today due to the snowstorm. My brother works at cable dahmer referred me to them after triple A was unable to help us. The lady who answered the phone was rude & short. Not very helpful at all. Disappointing.

We were broke down in Raymore during evening rush hour traffic on a Friday night. What a nightmare. They got there quick, the driver Kyle was awesome. He towed our car to the shop for us and the dropped us home. Great service!!

I was referred to this place by another business. I call them, the lady on the phoneasked where I was and how I'd be paying: check, cash, card. A check it is. Driver on the way. I called back, spoke to the same girl, and she assured me that they could change my tire, they do that quite often and have the tools on their trucks to do so.The driver arrives, I ask him to go ahead and put my spare on. That would've been easier for me. But he tells me he doesn't have a 4-way, only a jack. Ok, all good, so he loads up my car, I climb in his truck and we go to a nearby Walmart. He unloaded my van and came inside to get payment for the tow. I get my checkbook out and before I even open it, he says 'we don't take checks.' I explained the payment options the lady had offered, yet he insisted they did not and that he didn't know why she would tell me that.At this point, I'm frustrated because everything I was told by the girl was being blocked by the driver. I got out a card, paid him, we parted ways.I am not one to complain; I've worked in customer service before, however this was aggravating. I was told I could pay by check, but the driver said that I was informed incorrectly. I was told he could change my tire, the driver claimed he didn't have the tools to complete the task.I decided that it was worth bringing to the attention of the supervisor. I called again, reached the same young lady, informed her of my complaints, and she put me on hold to speak with the owner. She returned to the line, told me the guy that did my tow was a manager, that she didn't know why he did things the way he did, asked for a call back number so that the owner could call me back.I assumed when I got on the phone with Jeremy Brown, the owner, that he knew at least a bit of backstory. The girl did speak to him earlier. Turned out, he was not familiar with the situation (that, or he played stupid). So I explained why I was calling him. His explanations:* The driver would have had to tow you off of the road to change the tire. I spoke with the driver and he was doing what he thought was best to save you money. *I told Jeremy that I appreciated that but why wouldn't the driver just explain that to me? Why lie and say he didn't have the tools. I do not blame them a bit for not wanting to change a tire on a hwy. But it's my money, my decision, and I should be told my options. Communicate with the customer. While I appreciated the attempt to save me money, I was more concerned with getting where I needed to be. I would've paid for the tow and the tire change because that's what I NEEDED DONE.*We accept checks but it is at the discretion of the driver. They are held liable if the check bounces.'Again, that's fine. But that is not what was communicated to me. When I am told I have an option of check, cash, or card, then I assume I can use whichever I choose. If check acceptance is at the driver's discretion, then set that expectation with the customer.The lady that I spoke to was always gracious and kind, plus PROFESSIONAL every time we spoke. The driver was also kind and easy going. When I got on the phone with the OWNER of the company, Mr. Jeremy, he was rude, cut me off when I to speak, talked over me, didn't apologize for the miscommunication, and it made me feel worthless as a customer. Sucks I was referred to a business with such unprofessional management. I was not asking for a refund, not asking for a reprimand of anyone, I just wanted to share the experience to not only inform him that there was a miscommunication (perhaps a training opportunity) and to confirm that what was done in regards to my situation was standard. I don't know if this is how they run the business or because I'm female. No clue. But the owner... Not the driver, not the girl answering phones, THE OWNER left a bad taste in my mouth.You could've done better, Sir.

They use profanity in front of customers.and whether your car was stolen or not they will not let you retrieve your belongings out of it without paying the tow fee they are pretty rude especially the owner if your vehicle gets towed because it was stolen they have no right to refuse to give you your belongingsthe police department needs to find a different tow company
