I own a Brinks drawer safe. The battery went dead and I lost the key. The safe has been locked for more than 10 years. I went to several locksmiths over the years, who said they couldn't open the safe. After watching several YouTube videos of locksmiths defeating safes, I gave it another try. I called a company who quoted me $150.00 to pick the lock. I called Clements and explained the situation over the phone. The gentleman on the phone advised he would charge $15.00 to pick the lock. Long story short, I dropped safe off, he called the next day and said it was ready. The price was $15.00 Pluse taxes. I strongly recommend this company, their service was quick and their pricing honest. If the need arises, they will be my first choice.

We had a lot of antique and specialty locks in our old south city home and Clements was able to make keys for all of them. We called a few other places and either they didn't carry keys for vintage locks or charged an insane amount to make a key or copy. Our 100 year old pocket door is restored! Friendly service from a professional!

Our car top carrier had a broken key and as you can imagine this is a complete pain in the neck to deal with.But everything changed for the better when I met with Scott at Clements.He helped me take the carrier off the carPulled the broken key out of the lock Made a new key with the remnants of the old keyHelped me reinstall the carrier on the carObviously a lot of us like to shop local but in this case I dont know that there would be any other alternative to fixing the solution other than a skilled local professional Locksmith So next time your planning to go straight to a large national chain maybe consider Clemens because we need the local proprietor around for situations like this.

Too bad giving no stars wasnt an option. My experience with this place was among the worst I have ever had. The person I spoke with on the phone (I'm assuming he was the owner) placed a lot of blame on the roadside assistance team and was very unprofessional. They were called out because our key broke off in the ignition. When I called to see what was taking so long as they were 20 minutes past their ETA, not only was the man on the phone rude, but he actually told me not to be spooked when his guy arrived and prewarned me that the employee would be black. It literally took the guy 30 seconds to remove the key fragment, and I was charged $175. I asked if I could get a replacement key and he told me no. So $175 for 30 seconds of work and no key made. Also, when I asked for a receipt since I paid cash, he refused to make me one and told me it would be mailed to me. This was an absolutely horrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone. I also called my roadside assistance and asked that they no longer use this place of service for future potential issues.
