Staff was super welcoming and friendly! From walking in to leaving, it took Iess than 7 minutes for 2 car keys to be cut. They even made sure it worked opening the car doors with each key. Definitely recommend!

Moved to a new location and needed a lock rekey. My call was answered promptly and with personal attention. The visit was set up within two hours, even though there was no rush, and the locksmith was very prompt and completed the work timely. I would definitely recommend this company.

I went in there with an old Eagle pad lock. Needed a key. One guy told me it was impossible to open it or make a key for it. I tried to buy a blank to cut on my own, guy wanted to charge me $21 for a $0.30 price of steel. He knew I was a lock collector and tried to up charge me. Found the key on Ebay for $3..

Service here was professional and fast for copying keys. I brought in two challenging keys to be copied (another locksmith said they wouldn't be able to do one of them) and I had my copies in less than 10 minutes. Not inexpensive, though: each key copied was $6, at least for the first one.

Called to ask for an estimate on a new installation. They sent someone out, didn't disclose a charge for the estimate. No work was performed. They sent a bill after the fact...... If they'd disclosed a charge prior to, we might have had them come, might have called someone else.... Not a transparent business practice.

I had 3 keys cut and a fob programmed for my subaru forester correctly and quickly done, although I had purchased the keys and remote on line. . When the price tag was totalled it was better than 1 key done by the dealer. Cy personnel checked and confirmed all of them worked as supposed to and were friendly and personable. Would recommend them to anyone needing a FOB or smart key made . Thanks Brian.

Incredibly overpriced. Charged me full labor rate to look into an issue that they couldnt resolve. They refused to work with me on the price, and now Im going to have to hire another company to fix it! Pound wise, penny foolish - will never use them again!

The safe I had installed in my home had tons of dings & scratches. I told the deliveryman (Keeth) I did not want the one from the display but he argued with me and in his haste he gouged one of my mahogany bookcases with his stair machine. Keeth was very rude and disrespectful to me and my property, he then had the chutzpah to charge double the price for going up stairs as I was initially quoted! When my husband got home he shook the safe and found Keeth only installed ONE bolt and it was LOOSE! I made a case to the BBB!

What a RIPOFF! They charged me 8 dollars per key! None of the keys worked and the guy behind the counter refused to refund my money. The very tall man told me to get my keys someplace else. SO I DID! I went to home depot and not only were the same keys $1.25ea but they ALL WORKED! I should call the cops!

We came here to have some keys cut and fobs programmed to two new-to-us vehicles we purchased. One set needed a laser cutter (also called a Sidewinder, I believe) and Cy Drake is one of the few in Morris County that has one. Brian helped us so much - he is very friendly and SO knowledgeable. He knew exactly what he was doing, what key blanks were required, how to program the keys and fobs to our vehicles, and they all worked perfectly. When one stopped working a few weeks later he quickly figured out that the battery in the fob had died and he replaced it fast and sent us on our way. We'll be going to Brian and Cy Drake for all of our future key/fob needs and sending everyone we know there as well. Thanks Brian!

Definitely a No-go place !!!! Low quality work, expensive charge!!! Keys copied from this store dont work well!!! I put too much trust on them.I ended up paying 200$ out of pocket to a lock out emergency service to open my door because of these guys incompetence to make a copy accurately !!! They should be liable for the cost that I had paid for their mistakes!!!! The owner was being very irresponsible !!!! He didnt even apologize for the poor work his staff did! By fixing the problem he only offered to make another copy of the key and it still wasnt accurate the second time !!!!! What a poorly managed local business!!

Keith came out to my Madison home within 30 minutes of me phoning in my request. He arrived on time and ready to work - he replaced front door and back door locks on my house. I showed him an un lockable cellar door in my basement and he provide a pad lock as a solution. Keith was great, we had entertaining banter while he worked, and each learned something about ourselves during his visit. Keith is the man.

These guys are the best. The cat's pajamas. The best thing since sliced bread.I brought them some hand-made locks from our house that are literally over 90+ years old, and haven't been in production since Taft was president. They sent me home with completely functional, clean locks, keys, and installation instructions (all within my budget!) and didn't seem to mind that I always came into the store as early as humanly possible. 10/10 would bring my locks here again.

Two weeks ago I purchased a lock, a set of keys and a few other things. Unfortunately, the lock didn't work for my door so I returned it on Oct 24, 2016. Unfortunately, the person crediting my account inadvertently charged my account causing me to go into overdraft. The tall gentleman who did this immediately apologized and returned to my account the new charge of 42.77 as well as the previous charge of 42.77. Unfortunately, while the debit hits immediately, the credit takes a couple of days to hit. The other short man immediately called 'his bookkeeper' who told him he can credit me the overdraft fee when it hits. Good news, but my bank charges an overdraft fee every day! While trying to discuss this with this shorter man, he started yelling saying that I must take time from my work day, go to the bank and request a written letter from the bank staying I was charged the overdraft. My ledger wouldn't be accepted:( I asked this short man to stop yelling, then he yelled again, 'I'm trying to help you tell me what I can do' So, I said, you could give me the cash now, I can run to the bank, put the funds in then I won't be charged the overdraft fee at 12:01. He yelled louder, I AM NOT GIVING YOU CASH! I explained that I was only answering his question of what do I want him to do. This office is great for making keys and doing mundane things. The original man who accidently charged me was sincere, kind and immediately tried to help me, although his hands were tied.The shorter guy -- not so much.I will write another review tomorrow after I go to my bank, discuss this situation and get a letter, travel back to Cy Drake, and see how we can work together to ensure I don't get an overdraft charge daily until my check goes into my bank on Friday..
