I had my old, crunchy drivers side Honda lock fixed here, because my key wasnt turning in the lock. The guy who helped me (I wish I knew his name) was very kind and friendly and did a great job with the lock. I had my lock issue diagnosed for free the day before and came back in the morning. The shop itself is nice and clean with a little sitting area, and everyone who works there seems very competent and professional.

I had no issues with security before deciding that 'adding a lock' to my store-front might help me sleep better at night. Brandon insisted on having my key to the second lock, much longer than made me feel comfortable. I had a break-in within weeks. No forced entry, not a single scratch on my locks. I am the only person with these keys and forcing TWO heavy duty locks with not a scratch is too much of a coincidence. Other than the fact that my number uses the same company and he also had a break-in just weeks before. CROOKS. STAY AWAY.UPDATE: As a business owner reputation is everything and although I've had forensics run in detail; you have lost my trust, my recommendations, and the fact that you wouldn't even look at it to give me your 'professional' opinion, is concerning. Your reply speaks volumes, both as a business owner and even more so, that you are defending family, instead of clients also tells me that you would cover for this 'long Time employee AND FAMILY MEMBER' in a minute. YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO RESPOND TO REVIEWS MORE DIPLOMATICALLY.

My wife a I needed a copy made of one of our car keys. We called the dealership first for a price and they were going to charge over $200. My wife went down here and they only charges her $120 which is much better than what the dealership was going to charge. My wife said that the people here were very kind and helpful. They thankfully had the key we wanted in stock and were able to get the key made in about ten minutes. They did an awesome and we will definitely go back to them in the future for any other lock and key needs.

fast and attentive service. I had brought in an antique sewing table and they had to make a new key for it. They thought it was going to be several days but they ended up doing it in less than 2 hours. I was very happy with the service and the cost!

I wish every company I deal with made things this easy. Rolf showed up on time, was extremely professional, and did an excellent job. We just bought the house and needed every single lock re-keyed so that we didnt have 10 keys. There were a couple issues with doors not lining up & one deadbolt hole that has been previously drilled wrong. Simple fixes done in about an hour. Why cant every company be this easy to deal with!! I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to call them again. I also felt that the price was very reasonable.

I went in today for a duplicate key for my car and was told it would be $5 to cut the key and $40 to program it (a transponder key) for my car. The technician came up to me after finishing the job and said he was able to program it without his computer and would not charge me the $40 I was expecting to pay (he said it wouldn't be ethical). I'm 78 and in all my dealings with shops of all kinds have NEVER have heard any service person or shop owner tell me they cared about ethics. This is a gem of a business.

I would have written this review the same day we got let back into our new home. But I was so excited to have help to get back in flew out of my head. To back up a little we recently moved in, we went outside to the backyard closed the door and bang we were locked out. It was a Sunday and asked the neighbors who they would recommend. This was the company. Rolf, our locksmith, showed up quickly and ready to help. He did it lickity split. We also had new locks installed at the same time. To say the least it was a awesome experience with a professional, prompt and knowledgeable locksmith. Thank you Rolf & Bill's Lock & Key!

Can pretty much do it all, and are always great to deal with. Been using them for 25 years, and hope to see them around for another 25+!Even when my most recent vehicle key need was having difficulty with the computer, he persisted and used a different tool and managed to get the second key programmed. I was very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the customer service was at Bills. I first had a kid named Kris cut me a new key, then an automotive tech named Brandon came out and got me going in a very reasonable amount of time. He was good at what he did and was very polite and friendly. I can't speak more highly of this business. In a time where customer service has gone out the window, go to Bills if you want to be treated like a person and not just another customer.

One of the few locksmiths in town where you can get a key fob for your car, get it cut and programmed and on your way. Quite a bit cheaper than a key purchased from a dealer.I bought my keys online and brought them here to be cut and programmed. They also have a lot of Safes and offer Safe repair, from small jewelry/paper Safes, up to big gun Safes.

My big box purchased Schlage door locks & handles were pretty sun damaged. 2 days ago I went to Bill's and placed my order with Jason - he was very helpful and accurate. This morning, Phil did an OUTSTANDING job installing new locks and handles on 3 doors. The security door needed some correction (deadbolt lock openings did not quite line up), FIXED. Garage door needed a bit of an adjustment, DONE. He showed me how to properly lubricate the lock bolts and keyholes; then showed me how to change the orientation of the handles. Phil is a master craftsman; he is totally professional & personable, a skilled problem-solver, and a great teacher. I highly recommend Bill's for keys and/or new locks & handles.

Everybody at Bill's Lock &Key are fantastic. These people really know what they are doing. I went to Subaru for a new key and they had to get it from the east coast and have it cut back there, then go through several steps to program it. They actually suggested I go to a local locksmith.None of that nonsense at Bill's. They knew exactly which replacement key to order, and they cut it and reprogramed all my keys and car in 30minutes. And for about half of what Subaru was going to charge me. And all the keys work perfectly, unlike those you get cut at those big box stores that you have to take back because they're not quite right.All the staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them!!!!

Got the job done That's why I'm giving 3. The lock smith first charged a car payment. More than the other guy I called due to he said he couldn't make it. He then called back yelling and saying I'm at your car. How do you say your not comming then show up mad? 340.00 for a simple key, then.you want to charge me an extra 10.00. The other locksmith was less than half the price. It's not right to play on desperation. That's unprofessional.

Seems things have slipped a bunch when it comes to costumer service, called for info, had the emergency guy answer because the system was not turned off, so I took a trip in with a new person to get business from, Isaac was upsetting to the new customer enough so that she walked out, I finished up with Isaac (got a key made)and left. I will no longer send people there, as well as I am no longer going there, when I asked for Mary or Will, I was told by a guy I have never met, that he would be the closest I would get, so sad that it has changed so much.

They were the highest priced quote I received when looking for a cylinder for my car... Offered little to no help in the process, and seemed dismissive. I highly recommend the lock shop. They helped me through the whole process as well as stepping me through the process to find a code that helps them make the key so they could discount me further.

I went into Bills Lock and Key yesterday to pickout a new front door handle/lock combo, and to set up a time to have it installed. An employee, Kris, asked me if he could help me. I told him my front door handle was sticking and the door lock was very rough to turn. Kris showed me some handle/lock combos they could install, but said the handle/lock set on my door may just need a new spring or need to be lubricated. Kris set up a convenient time on Friday for an employee to come out and look at my front door to see if a new handle/lock was needed (taking measurements if necessary) or if lubrication was only needed. The Bills Lock and Key, employee, Eric, showed up today at the agreed upon time. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He looked at my door, took apart the handle and checked the lock. He said it just needed to be lubricated and that everything else was fine. The whole visit took about twenty minutes. The employee, Eric, gave me an invoice for a reasonable amount, I paid and he left. The lock and handle work great now. I will use Bills Lock and Key again, and let others know about their service.
