have been using them for a long time. not anymore. sold a poor quality key and would not replace. wanted me to buy a replacement. they could have given me a new key and not lost any money but would rather lose an old customer.much better to spend a bit extra and get a dealer key. the manager is also not warring a mask, stay away if immune compromised

These guys are pros. Like really. They are not the cheap provider, but they are the real deal. Top quality locks, great service, nice people, and a WIDE set of offerings. They set up my 7 apt building with keypad locks and an electronic strike system so that we can put a buzzer for the front door. For some reason I have clicked with these guys more than the troy branch of the family.

Rude nasty inconsiderate. I am parked at Enterprise Auto Rental. I am completely within line. Handicapped. Old codger backs his truck in over my line to block off driver door entry exit. He works his way out if his truck. Goes into business.They have parking signage. I'm in front of Enterprise..Why would anyone have unprofessional inconsiderate people work on security locks it anything..unprofessional us bad referrals...which I will gladly give from this point on!See photos!

I called on Saturday at 1:15 and someone showed up before 2 when they close. The service man was done in 15 minutes. They even guarantee their locks for a year! I only had to pay for the call! Very professional. Highly recommend.

I would drive the 20 minutes to their location just to get a house key copied because they are that great! Needed to have a keyless entry fob replaced and programmed for my car. Price was less than half of dealer quote. Dealt with Miguel. Order was placed (payment in advance), five days for part to arrive, then 5 minutes to program the replacement and I was back in business. A dream to work with! If only there were six stars!

I don't normally write review without experiencing the service first. There's always an exception to any rule. I call Mangione Locksmith, Inc to ask a question about a key for my Lincoln Navigator. Miguel was the person who pick up the phone. He was very professional and answered all my questions. He was energetic on the phone and it's the kind of person who gives you the confident to go and service from that business. If you looking to get a spare key for your car then this is not the place. They tricked me. I asked them for a key/remote unit. They said no problem. It took them two weeks to get the key but that not the real issue here. They were able to get the key part opening and turning the car on; however, they failed to program the remote. They claimed that the problem is in the car itself as there remote has no problem. I took the car to the dealer with their key/remote. The dealer identified the key as an aftermarket key (which the salesman never told me about). So, the dealer tried to program the key but with no luck and this costed me. The dealer identified the remote part of the key ad faulty. So, I went back to the store for a refund but they refused! How can they refuse when it is their mistake! A man is responsible for his own mistake but these people are no men and not a respectful establishment. They were the ones who provided me with this faulty unit. So it is their responsibility to replace/refund me. All they did is give me a partial refund. What I needed is a key/remote unit. This is a car that is used by a mother who in need of a remote to make her life easier with getting the baby in/out of car. Now, I have to get a new key/remote unit from the dealer as they are one unit. So their refund is not of help. I cannot use that refund to by a remote only! The only reason I went to them is to get a better price than the dealer. Their price was not that much difference from the dealer (only $60). I wish I just went with the full price of dealer and peace of mind of a guaranteed work. I promised my self, I will never make a cheap decision again with cheap people who have cheap morals.

called ahead looking for an additional key for my son's car. the response was... NO PROBLEM. do you have it in stock.. NO PROBLEM, can you program it... NO PROBLEM. how long will it take... 15 min NO PROBLEM. I drive 20 min to get my son's car, then another 20 min to get to the shop. after 10 min of fumbling through a book. they come back... We have a PROBLEM. we can do any key but this one....really? thats why i called ahead... they were not even apologetic. I do NOT recommend this place.

I had a lock 'emergency', in that our house's front door wasn't locking with the deadbolt. Additionally it was an old door and a mortise lock that was original to the 93-old-house. Needless to say I was getting nervous about not being able to securely lock my house... Cue Phil to the rescue, who happened to answer the phone at ECM Locksmith. He was not only friendly, approachable and helpful over the phone, but he also had no trouble quickly outlining the different options to have my lock problem solved. After some discussion it seemed like the best thing to do was to have him come look at the lock in person and make some recommendations. He clearly knows locks and was able to solve my lock problem in less than 2 hours (including time needed to take the lock back to the shop for work), and solved it for a reasonable amount of money. The most important aspect of this experience was that he really seemed to grasp my priorities (I was more interested in securely locking the door and not having to pay an arm and a leg for it), and was able and willing to give me the information I needed to make the right lock decisions.Thanks Phil. You were awesome.

Locked myself out of the house today and called them from a neighbor's house. They were here in 15 minutes, and 'picked' the lock openwhich wasn't easy. He wouldn't even accept a tip. Feeling Grateful!

Pros: They were well stocked and had a great selection of door locks and hardwareCons: The sales people either weren't very knowledgeable, didn't have the right equipment, or were misleading. They told me that it was not possible to replace the post on the back of the lock cylinder and that I had to buy a new lock. I went to another locksmith in Albany and they were able to replace the post for 1/10 of what it would have cost to replace the lock through Edward Mangione's.
