My wife and I were out of town and my oldest kid and his friend were staying at the house. Our oldest called to tell us they were locked out. When I called he first offered me tips to unlock the door ourselves to avoid a cost. I thought that was thoughtful.When I called him back he was able to quote a price and send somebody out almost right away.I appreciated that the locksmith called us to make sure our kids were in a safe spot to wait until they got there from a previous job.We were charged what we were quoted.They were very quick!They stayed in contact.They verified the ID of my son. They stressed they take unlocking a house for somebody very seriously when it comes to identity.Such a seamless great experience. I would surely use them again in the future and or recommend them!

I had a special Multlock 205 building key that nobody could copy, I called a locksmith in the city that suggested I check this place out. Arthur did have the blank so he made an order for me and I came back the next day to pick up my new key. It was $25 to get 1 copy I asked for 2 copies and he gave me a discount. I'm sending everyone from my building out here.

Great service!!! We just closed on a condo and wanted the locks changed on the doors. I made an appointment for the work to be done on Saturday morning at 10am. He arrived early, quickly assessed the lock situation on both doors, worked up a very reasonable quote and got to work. One hour later, the work was complete and we were handed 2 new sets of keys! Leo is the best! I was dog sitting for my neighbor and locked myself out of their house. Leo was super responsive and got out to me in about 15 minutes, within another 10 minutes I was inside the apartment and with the dog. Wish I could give him more than 5 stars, he saved the day.

When the lock on my ancient, metal-wrapped door that is coming off its hinges, started refusing to open with the key, I foolishly bought a new lock and tried to replace the old one. No problem replacing the lock, but getting the door to close & the lock to work was another matter. Three hours my partner said, 'Hun, why don't you call a locksmith?' I ended up finding Astoria Locksmiths. Talked with Arthur who showed up on a Sunday evening 40 minutes later as promised.Arthur, who has been working with locks since he was 17, was friendly, professional, and courteous. He was willing to work with the lock I had purchased. He spent over an hour fixing what I had broken (while being kind to me about my lack of skill), tightening the door in its frame, replacing the strike plate, aligning the cylinder, and properly aligning the new lock. When he was done it worked! And we no longer have to slam the door to turn the key (our neighbors will be grateful).

I contacted a large number of locksmiths to have copies of our new high-security keys made after learning the job was too difficult for Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and other hardware stores to handle. The landlord refused to provide a copy. Arthur was the only locksmith I contacted who went to the trouble to track down the part number of the key blank and made me a copy without charging me an extra penny for the trouble.

Called for a quote to get a door unlocked.. the person on the phone couldnt help me so he told me someone would call me back.. I waited a couple of minutes and when I didnt hear anything, I decided to call another company to see if they could give me a quote since I had a short window before I had to leave for work:. They also told me they would have to have someone call me back.. when the guy from Astoria Key Copy and Locksmith called me back he didnt know what company he worked for. He gave me another company name so I had to call back to Astoria Copy and Locksmith to find out if the guy calling was his technician or for the other company and the guy on the phone preceded to give me a hard time about calling multiple companies for quotes vs trying to answer the question of if the guy calling me was with him.. I called the locksmith back. He couldnt tell me why he didnt know what company he worked for and told me he could be there in 10 minutes. I asked him if he could really be there in 10 min bc if not I needed to call back when I returned from work. He told me he could not get the job done in 10 min so then I had to explain that that wasnt my question.. I asked if he could be at my place in 10 min not if he could finish in 10 min.. he told me it would actually take 15-18 min to get there. I told him fine and asked him to please hurry so I could get to work and he said okay. The guy, his name is Leo, never showed up and never called to tell me he wasnt coming. I suggest calling a different company that has it more together and can answer basic questions. I use to cut my keys here too but not going to support a company that doesnt value the time of its patrons.

My car is so old it needs a locksmith almost every week. Arthur, Mike or Joe arrive at my location almost every other week, They have told me multiple times to change the lock but I refuse (money Issue) either one of them unlocks my car and leaves with no problem. Last week was probably the 10th time so Arthur decided to help me out, He decided to change my lock for the price I pay them to unlock. I mean, they could have just taken advantage of my situation but they did something good. I am so blessed to have met and used them.

My brother and I have been living in this tiny 2 bedroom apartment for over 6 months, our locks are not so great. We decided to take a chance and either remove or replace the locks in each door, that is 3 doors. We both work in a minimum wage jobs since we are both under 21 yrs of age and just started college in a city we are unfamiliar with. It is a pleasure working with Astoria's locksmith, Our company imports and exports goods, We have about 20 rooms and a big space Near Astoria. The warehouse is pretty old, our doors always jamms. I have asked my receptionist to schedule an appointment with a locksmith to fix the issue. Mike and Joseph came to our Warehouse on wednesday last week and did a phenomenal job, they removed the doors and frames with door jambs in each room. Replaced all doors and frames (that we bought) replaced all locks and gave us new keys. The doors are working perfectly, without any doubt I would choose them again.

Such a pro!!! I am pretty surprised at how they handeled the situation, I locked my self out and I started panicking since I had food on the stove that will burn if dont turn off the flame. Some say it was luck but I dont know.They were here in 5 minutes and unlocked my door for me. Awesome service!
