I had a lock installed by this company less than a year ago. I have had to call them three times to come and repair it. I have been unable to get inside the apt. from the outside and unable to get out of the apt. as well. The manager or whoever consistently picks up the phone is extremely nasty and rude. I do not recommend this establishment.

Save yourself and your home and don't go to him. I got a high security key card lock from them for $244 just weeks ago. Now when I return home my 'high security' lock is unlocked. Someone made a duplicate of my key and breaking into my home. They told me to keep my key card and the only way that someone could make duplicates was to have the card and come to their store and make copies. I did not ever give my card to anyone. Either they are doing this or they gave my keys to someone other than me who is doing this. Dishonest and untrustworthy for the security of your home.Response: How do I know because you are in the business and you gave me that card and keys? The stupid man I was trying to protect my home from asked the person you sent which company you are from. He does not steal anything in my apartment but moves things around because that disgusting man could not take a hint to get lost. It was not one day that this happened. It was at least 3 separate incidences. I always locked both my locks and at least three times this happened. It was done very obviously and deliberately.

We were locked out our Apartment and I called this company and they sent a technician. He said, he has to drill the lock and this is the only way and I have to pay $200 for a new lock plus $180 for the service. The guy seemed totally unprofessional to me, so I had to pay $65 and refused the service. I called another company in Queens, he came and opened our apartment door in 2 minutes without damaging anything. I don't recommend this company!!!

I don't normally write a recommendation. This place Armor Locksmith & Security on 164 Street on Fresh Meadows, are trust worthy, reliable, friendly, outstanding service, and fairly priced. The owner personally came out to my home. Totally professional, very friendly, great conversation. Great advice on home security throughout, with candid perspective on the wear and tear of our locks. Calling in to schedule the appointment was done with excellence and paying was easy to do. Also, extra time was spent explaining how to secure the windows on first floor. I am using there service a few time and I got the same technician, who is professional, precise in his approach and personal. His knowledge of more advanced and secure lock options and their installation made me calling and referring friends to this lock smith service.Overall, I loved working with them, felt they were very trustworthy, did a great job, and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Called needing a lock fixed. After sending photos to Lorraine, the store manager, I received a call within 5 minutes with a price and time that a locksmith would be arriving. He was there as scheduled and promptly fixed the lock. Was friendly and worked quickly. Have also had all types of keys copied at the store. Overall the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend Armor to anyone needing keys copied, locks fixed or new locks installed.

My 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe FOB stopped working and I did a Google search for a car locksmith. Decided to go with Amor Locksmith & Security since they were closer to my job. Wow is all I can say. For starters, the place is kept clean and staff was really nice. The technician Richard was professional and answered my questions quickly. When he didn't know the answer he called his boss Benny which provided the info. Richard quickly reprogrammed the 2 transponders and also made me an extra door key for the one I've misplaced. The whole processed took less than 30 minutes. The price, another wow. They advertise 10 to 50 % discount when compared to a dealership doing it but I think it was more the 50%. Nice surprised. If I ever need anything to do with locks (cars or home), I'll definitely use them again. I highly recommend them.

We have used Armor Locksmith in the past for locks and other locksmith needs. Their service is so good that we chose them to install our security cameras and the doorbell monitor. We needed some extra lessons on how to use these systems and without any hesitation they came right back to make sure we understood how to use the systems properly via our computer. I called this place at 5:50, because I saw that it was a 24/7 service, read the reviews and had such high hopes. I'm super disappointed that I called and spoke with someone about a replacement key for my car, was told that someone would be out to me in an hour and no one ever came. I gave them 2 hours before I started calling to see what was going on. I called both the 866 and the shop numbers and haven't gotten through to a person. Their shop closed at 6:30 and both voicemail boxes are full. It's now 10:40 and there's been no contact. Merry Christmas to me

This Spot Is The Best. Called Them Last Minute To See If They Had Closed. I arrived right at closing time and they stayed with me to get my key issue resolved. Great experience. Expert locksmiths that offer great service at very reasonable prices. Had two Mini Cooper car keys replaced when multiple locksmiths including Home Depot couldn't do it, for less than half of what the Dealer quoted. Highly recommended.

This is definitely the best locksmith I have ever used. Thank god they have emergency services, I was locked out in the middle of the night from my apartment and they were fast and didn't charge a crazy amount even though it was so late. The guy was really nice, I would definitely recommend them and use them again myself.
