2 months ago it was a freezing night,I was lockout of my apartment.Ethan answered the phone in 4 am and came to the rescue when no one else answered Literally saved my life and Im thankful for that.Highly recommended , the service was amazing the vibes he gave me was so calm in such a hard situation .Thank you and keep being so nice supportive and calm.And for the end the best locksmith company by far!!

Ethan from Village Lock came by recommendation from my Super. He changed the lock on my apartment super quick and was super professional and communicative. He is also hilarious!I then stopped by his store on 6th Ave to make copies for the new lock, which was super easy. The store has many specialty keys and rare types as well. 5 stars for the service and the jokes.

Incredible service - they showed up in less time than they told me it would take - at midnight on a weekend none the less . Excellent service. From what I found, all key makers in the village close at 6pm, including Village Lock and Key. I called them at 5:58pm and they happily offered to wait for me and make copy of my keys. The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable, super helpful, let me know how much each key was going to cost before starting to copy, and was genuinely happy to have my business. Highly suggest anyone else that needs keys made to go here.

He was able get me into my apartment and blow thru a very old, very custom lock that was extremely difficult. Hes a really nice guy, professional, and cares about his work. I highly recommend! We used Village Lock and Key to replace two locks on our apartment door. The work was done very quickly and for a fair price. We were given a price almost 4x this from another locksmith. Ethan came over first and gave all of the options for us (in different price ranges) not even recommending the most expensive, but a quality option for less. I visited the store to have more keys made where it was completed by another very nice employee who knew who I was and exactly what to do from Ethan. It feels like a tight knit run quality and trustworthy business! The best option in the village!

These guys are awesome! So knowledgeable and accommodating! We are a busy fitness studio with lockers that just kept breaking. We also have a problem with keys continually disappearing. They installed sturdier and better locks for our needs, and now keep a running account for key copies for us!
