I bought a used Land Cruiser that came with only one key that barely worked, i needed a reliable set of keys. After going to the dealership which wanted my first born and another locksmith who I did not choose, I went to the Suffolk County Locksmith Shirley store and the locksmith there was able to make a master key from a cylinder that I brought in that's old school stuff and is hard to find nowadays. I visited the store a few times so far to get a key programmed, and then bought a remote key and had it set up, from the office ladies to the two locksmiths i dealt with everyone there was polite and professional.Highly recommended.

On May 9, 2020, I brought my Mazda Miata to Suffolk County Locksmiths at their Shirley location to program a key fob which was a genuine Mazda part. Technician was nice but was unable to program my key and fob so that the key would start my car. That was a Saturday. Told me to come back during the week because tech support was unavailable on weekends. On Tuesday May 12, 2020 I went back to the Shirley location. The tech was still unable to program the key fob. I asked for my money back. He said that was not the owner's policy. 'We can't guarantee keys we don't sell'. He tried to up-sell a Mazda key through their shop for $355. I asked him why a key through them would work any better than the one I obtained from Mazda. No real answer, just their policy! I told the tech I would bring the car back to Brookhaven Locksmiths to see if they could program the key fob. Of coarse! They were successful. Fob works fine and starts car! I had to pay again for Brookhaven to program fob. Obviously the fob works! The owner of Suffolk County Locksmith is unethical. Should have returned my money since it was their lack of ability, not defect of part. Perhaps they just take advantage of women.

Very nice customer services but when their tech made an error and couldnt program the keys for my car because of a simple mistake of his part. They still, even knowing it was his mistake would not refund my 140 dollars they charge for labor only no material but offer 70 store credit. How is your Mechanics error my responsibility. Sad how a big well known company, that you think you can trust, would not take ownership of their mistakes. Honestly just disappointed..... I agree with your reply to an extent if my key was the problem sure... But reading the wrong info off the BCM to be decoded to get the proper pin to program the key was a mistake made by a seasoned technician not by the equipment. My receipt proves that he used the wrong info. Which is definitely not my responsibility. And a manual reading of the bcm to get this info is far from not common practice if thats where your going. My parts not the problem, my car not the problem, technician hmmmmm

Phenomenal service! I spoke to a couple other locksmiths before I came to Suffolk County Locksmith. But they were the only ones to recommend just the type of lock I was looking for. They came when they said they would. The new lock was installed quickly and works great. Not only that, the guy John came back within a couple days to make sure the lock was working fine. And when I lost a couple of keys, and it's not your standard key, they were able to make more copies on the spot once I got there. I would definitely recommend Suffolk County Locksmith to all of my friends, family and colleagues!

Recently traveled to NY to stay with relatives and avoid hurricane Dorian. I Lost the key remote to our 2018 Cadillac and could not start our car. Called AAA and was referred to their local Locksmith. These guys were terrific !! Came all the way to Riverhead Outlets to program new remote for car. Even jumped out battery since the car was dead. 45 minutes later we had a brand new remote and were back on the road.
