Crow's Wrecker & Repair Reviews

I had a busted radiator and their team helped me promptly and at a great cost. Definitely will be calling Crows next time I need some work done. Wonderful, nice people helped me tow my car and everything no problem. Even fixed the thumping in my ac that no mechanic has been able to fix. Great bonus.

Mr. Gil helped me on a Saturday afternoon. Him and his sons replaced our brake pads for me and my family. We are from out of state and no one else would help us. Would highly recommend Crow's Wrecker! Thanks Mr. Gil.

I called several companies no one answered or returned my call. This company answered 2 rings in. The gentleman came out at 10:30 at night and got my keys out of my car which i locked in the ignition with it running. He had my car open with no damage under 2 minutes. I was so relieved and made it in time to my next job. Thanks guys!

We recently Broke down in Cherokee on an overnight trip to see a concert (well after midnight) and I called Crow based solely on his add showing up first on my google search and boy what a great stroke of luck! I'm sure his competitors would be very hard pressed to provide a level of service and care for their customers that he provided. He showed up and had my truck loaded up and ready to go in just a matter of minutes. He dropped us off at our hotel on the way back to his shop and told us he would get to work on it first thing in the morning and let us know what needed to be done as soon as he could (which he did). Since we only had the room for one night, he actually came and got us at check out time and took us to his shop to explain what was wrong and give us our options. After deciding what we needed to do and finding out that the part wouldn't be in till the afternoon,he actually gave us a ride into town to spend the day hanging out while he started the repair! To make a long story short, the repair was finished long before we were expecting,at which time he called to find out where we were and came and picked us up! Not only was he willing to do all that,be he also called to make sure that we had made it home OK! How often do you find that level of service and concern for your clients? As a small business owner myself,I hope that I can follow his example of how to treat the people you provide service to. God bless you my man! and Thanks!

Had a heater hose blow on vacation and was stuck in Cherokee on a Sunday evening. Nearest parts store was 8.8 miles away in Bryson. Called my roadside assistance and one company wanted 300 out of pocket and was 2 hours away. The other wanted 100 and was an hour away. We were on a tight time line with the parts place closing soon. Called Crow's and he said they could do it for $100 and get me there in time. They showed up and we discussed my problem. A quick call back to the shop and they had what I needed to get back on the road. Gave me a ride to the shop and back and waited to make sure I was ok to get back on the road. Oh, and he didn't charge me a tow fee, just a shop fee and the parts cost. Yes, it was less than the tow fee. Saved my family from being stranded and made sure we got back on the road. I'm sure the other reviews have more than one side but as for me, I highly recommend them.

Crow had our vehicle running in three hours. He saved our vacation, only mechanic working on Independence day weekend. He was quick to offers us a ride to town while we waited for repairs. Great guy, efficient worker and reasonable price. Repairs could not have gone much smoother. Thanks again Gil, if you ever in Chicago I owe you one.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!This place is located on the top of a hill of a sketchy road. Filled with dogs running around freely with matted hair, throwing up everywhere and crap stuck to their bottoms. Not only are the animals not taken care of for the minimum care, but the guy who I assume is the owner of this of this place is completely out of line. He will rip you off to the point where you feel helpless. My mother's car stopped at the top of the smokey mountains at 4PM, and the local ranger had called this place to help us out. At first, they said it would cost $125, then the change to price to $175 and proceeded to say, you can wait another hour for the next tow truck. Mind you they showed up at 6PM.. My mother requested to have the car towed to a near by shopping center, but the driver said that it would be better to park at their lot since they have an on duty mechanic that can fix her car... (Sounds like a deal right? well WRONG. SO WRONG, that's how they get you.) When they got to the lot, the driver parked her car in the back at first, then my mother requested to park in the front instead.) Then they parked my mother's car bumper to bumper with another car. (I found this out after I drove from ATLANTA, GA.)The next day I asked the man to move the car up to check if there are any damages on her car and if there were, then we would need to contact the police station. He became defensive and yelled your car is fine! You know what, you have an hour to get your piece of SH**T car out of my lot before I call the police for you trespassing. And walked away without giving us our key. There weren't any scratches, but you can see the paint on the bumper was cracking. However we did not want to deal with this CON-ARTIST any longer so we left. The only nice thing that my mom had to say about this place was the way a Ms. Jackie treated her. Ms. Jackie dropped her off at a hotel. (but after being treated like crap, this is the minimum that they should do.)What my mother and I experienced was definitely FAR OUT OF THE GALAXY than what others had posted, raving bout this place they call a 'Business.'

Crow's really got us out of a bind this weekend. Not only did he pick up my family and I from the side of the road and tow our vehicle to hisnshop, but he made sure we got back to our hotel and then brought our car back to our hotel when the repairs were done. Very reasonable price including parts, labor, and the towing. I would certainly recommend this company for anyone in need of service work while in the Cherokee area.

Crow himself promptly arrived to tow my vehicle to safety when it became disabled while my family was on vacation. He also had a highly qualified referral partner to help me diagnose a problem that was a lot more complicated than 'meets the eye', which is generally the nature of automobile mechanical repairs, in my opinion. He also acted promptly to ensure AND arrange my family's safe return to our hotel AND rental car agency so that we could continue our vacation.I certainly don't want to have a breakdown 200 miles away from home again, but if I do, I hope it's in this area!.

Waste of time. You're going to be pulling into someone's yard, it looks like a blender threw up. The mechanics are rude. They don't take credit cards.

Didnt help me to tow my car. Asked for 6 hours just to check. I come back in 2 hours and see they checked already. And asked me 1500$ where my mechanic said it will be around 150$. And charged me 40$ for doing nothing. The place is all in dirt and oil and doesnt have front desk. There are other places nearby you can use those services.

So I took my 2006 mustang to crows because it wouldn't start while we were in north Carolina at the casino.....they towed it to their shop and had it for a week due to me living 2 1/2 hours away in Chattanooga and I had to be at work Monday morning.....crows charged me $762.00 and told me He put a new fuel filter and a new fuel pump on my car.....I went home Sunday with the car and it ran fine for a few days then ....it started the same thing ....turning over but wouldn't start ...I immediately called crows...he said i have a guy thays been working on fords for 30 years ...your fuel pump should be working...but the name of the technician was CROW on the receipt ...he then told me to recycle the key which I did after 20 minutes of the car choking and the car started...but I smelled gas inside my car badly .....he advised you shouldn't be smelling gas in the car....I got home and googled the fuel pump...it's under my back seat....I filled my car up with gas that day and still smelled the gas smell so i pulled the back seat out, there was gas standing on top of the fuel pump...so I called crows again and was told if you can get it back up here in the next 2 weeks we will fix it and won't charge you ,after he charged me for 3 hours labor when the fuel pump is under the back seat......so now the car is in my garage and will not start! I called crow on 4-17-16 and told him i couldnt get the car there because it's doing the same thing not starting but turning over! broke down! He said call me tomorrow and I'll see if someone can put one on for you in Chattanooga. ....well I've called numerous times with No answer! Then at 6pm a woman answered and said she has no idea what I'm talking about..and was very rude ...she said she was just told to answer the phones.....so basically I'm out $800 bucks, my cars not running and CROWS is avoiding me....I don't feel I should pay to tow my car back to that shop for $400 dollars which is what road side asistance is charging to tow it to be fixed when I'm already out $800 and it's not running!!!! My next step will be a lawsuit because I'm entitled to quality work for my money....

Crow's came within 30 minutes of calling them to pick up my car around 9pm on a Thursday night; however, the repairs took longer. I was told I would receive a call back on Friday as to what the problem was, how much it would cost, and when my car would be ready. I called multiple times throughout the day to try to find answers to my questions. My car was on the lift from shortly after 10am- 6.30pm for my starter to be replaced. I drove over an hour to sit in the office for 3 hours until my car was done. They only take cash, so I had to find a bank; I wasn't quoted a price until my car was 'nearly' done. The mechanics felt no need to get out of there on time, on a Friday leading up to a holiday weekend; this is what irritated me the most as I took half a day off work to sit in an office and watch mechanics talk. The car currently runs well, was fixed for a good price, and the guy towing my car was friendly and expedient; however, customer service by the owner was severely lacking.
