Brandon gave me a quote for 'cutting and programming' my car key for $85. I got two similar quotes for $90 and decided to choose Mr. B's Locks and Keys since their quote was the cheapest.I should mention that Acme lock - which was one of the places that gave me a $90 quote - explicitly mentioned that they charge $45 for cutting the key and $45 for programming it (screenshot attached).Upon arriving at the shop, Brandon asked for my new key which was sent to me by a dealer, and was still in the original packaging. He took the key out of the packaging, and even though he realized that the key was already cut he asked me to pay the original $85 plus a $5 tax upfront knowing fully well that he didn't need to cut my key for me.Since I was never told about the fact that the key was cut, I was under the impression that I was being charged $90 for both cutting and programming my key and hence I went ahead and paid the full $90.After he programmed my key I asked him if he forgot to cut the key blade, and that was when he mentioned that the key was already cut.Had I known that I was going to be charged for a service that I could get elsewhere for half of that price, I would have walked away and given my business to the business who had given me a quote for roughly half of what I was charged.If you don't want to get charged for a service that you are not getting, you should avoid Mr. B's Locks & Keys.

My fiance lost her car keys. I called at like noon to set up an appointment at 4 to have him meet me at the car and to get new ones made. He got there early, got the keys made, and by the time I got there at 4 he was already done. I'm pretty impressed

Great owner. He could have easily turned it into a house visit and upcharge me, but instead showed me the part I needed to repair my front door jamb and how to do it on my own. If I need more lockwork done this is where I'll come.

Brandon came all the way out to my house in Bright Indiana to make truck keys and even found out the code to the truck ( lock pad ) he was very fast I might add ! And he did not charge an arm n leg ( only my first born lol JK ) I would recommend him to anyone 5 star

Excellent professional service. I pulled up to the store front 10 minutes before close and the door was locked. I called to see if anyone was available to make a key for my Toyota. The gentleman explained he was out on a mobile service and asked if he could meet at my home location to help me out. He showed up 20 minutes later made the key right there in my driveway. The service and kindness blew me away. 5/5 great work.

Wow! I am totally shocked and amazed! Mr. Bs figured out my electrical issues. They were with me trying over and over again for hours, not giving up. They didnt stop until they got it right. I previously called Mr. Bs to ask for an estimate and unlike others he didnt try to up sell me and fast talk me, he simply gave me genuine advice. After following his advice I couldnt fix it on my own, so I called him and he saved the day. Mr. B and his partners are superheroes in my book! I am super happy and blessed that I came across his business on Facebook. Very honest, respectful and sweet men. I cannot thank you enough. Thank you guys!!!!!

The hell with this locksmith Ive tried to stop by on 2 seperate occasions right now being one of them and doors are locked past time that they are supposed to be open and they are closed on weekends unless youve got an appointment so dont waste your time when you can go inside the Goodyear next to McDonalds on Delhi theyve got a great locksmith who are open 7 days a week and have great hours

Outstanding, honest businessman. Mr. B's took very quick care of me and for a great deal. He cut my chipped Ford key in just a couple minutes and I was fully expecting to pay $65. When he learned I had the original 2 factory keys and could program the new one myself, he quickly dropped his price to just the cost of a key cutting and saved me a lot of money. He could have kept his price at the original quote and I would have been none the wiser. Highly recommend them! They have a neat store front as well with all your key and lock needs. Even some safes!
