Not located in Kettering. Google listing and website misrepresent that they are located in Town & Country Center, which is not true. They do not have a store there. If they misrepresent their location, will they be honest with you.

Cody was great and able to unlock my door fine. But extremely expensive!!!!! $40 to travel 5 mins and then $130 to hit a bump key 3 times?!!! Really.

Our key was locked in our car and I called Kettering Lock and Safe and they quoted me $50 on the phone. When the technician came out he said it would cost $119, not $50, due to it being a Toyota. I complained a bit, but I was in a bind. To his credit, he opened the car in about 30 seconds. When he went to charge my credit card, he said there would be an additional $15 service fee and tax making the total bill $145. Afterwards, I called the receptionist and confronted her that she was dishonest about her initial price, and she explained the $50 was the opening price. I said I thought it would have been more honest to prepare the customer that the actual price would likely be much higher. I don't know if low balling is a typical practice in the locksmith business, since I have never used a locksmith, but it strikes me as taking advantage of customers who are in state of desperation. Shame on them.

Do NOT call this company if you locked yourself out of your house unless you want to pay $200 for them to unlock a standard door lock and about $20 just for them to make the trip. I called this place to help me despite seeing the bad reviews because the first place I called told me it would take 2 hours to come out because they were already heading out to another place. The locksmith that came out was very nice, however my jaw about hit the floor when I heard it would be about $225 for a job that literally took him 5 minutes to complete. I would not recommend this company, keep scrolling to the next one.

Worst customer service ever. Kim was unhelpful. If youre not in a service area where they have a technician I was told find someone else to do it when I asked where I needed to drive to to have my key fob remade. Ridiculous!!! I would give no stars if possible.

Steer clear completely from this company. It is highway robbery and horrible service. Called at 3:20 p.m. and was told it would be 25 to 30 minutes with a $20 service call and then $90 for a broken key for a 2010 toyota corolla (just a regular car key) and possibly a little more if there was more to be done. The tech called back and said he was wrapping up the job he was at and he would be out. After an hour, we called and was quoted another 30 minutes. Waited. After 2 hours and 30 minutes and more phone tag, the tech finally arrived. It was over $200 dollars and the tech was rude and has no understanding of customer service. All he did was make a key and remove the broken key from the door. Was not worth the money or the wait. Shop somewhere else. Im filing complaint with the bbb.

This company was awful. They promised to call us within 5 minutes to meet us at the car to create a new key. After 30 minutes of sitting in the freezing cold, we called back and they said the tech had emailed them 10 minutes before and said he couldn't do it and she told us to call someone else to help us.
