I happen to have 3 ace hardware retail locations near me and this one would get all of my business because the staff is very Helpful and polite. I never leave the store empty handed they always have what it is i went for. The store is always clean and the shelves are always fronted. However the store would be perfect if they had a fishing and firearms section like the one in Newport.

They rented me faulty equipment, they say they rent it three times a week, and no one's ever had a problem. But it didn't operate correctly and the screws holding it together were striped out from it being taken apart so many times. I almost got my arm ripped off because it was in so disrepair... When I took it back and explained what happened, the manager accused me of mishandling and destroying their equipment because of my inexperience, then tells me I will owe $400. I threw a fit, and left. Ace called me later to tell me they opened it up and fixed it, and they were keeping the deposit for cleaning of the equipment, I cleaned it before I brought it back too... But the whole thing was highly suspect. I have lived in the area 25 years, I will never go back there, and I'm telling all my friends not to go there.

The help are the best & super knowledgeable and the best thing is if you get something that doesn't work for you returns are never a hassle! And the inventory is fantastic! 6 Stars for this one! this is a good place to come rent ladders for big jobs if your in Lincoln City the guys here are friendly the store is clean but just because the employees say they don't carry something definitely go look anyway because they're not always right on what they have and don't have
