Aaron is the man! Our business is in Pearl District and have been for almost 18 years now. We decided it was time to add new security locks to our doors to help protect our employees and patients. They installed our lock with no issues and its been nothing but a smooth transition. A couple of times late in the evening, I contacted Aaron directly and he was able to assist me with ease on a code change that I needed help with. Very professional and responsive. Pricing? Great service from these guys! Turns out that the local dealer did not have the right equipment to program a key fob for my car. I set appointment with Advantage to have it done. A technician came to my location within the hour. Very knowledgeable, and got the job done in a timely manner. Will be using them in the future!

Someone attempted to break into my car and pulled out the key cylinder to my driver's side door. Advantage was easy to work with on getting this fixed and replaced. They were able to find me the OEM part and got it installed very quickly when the part arrived. I'll be back if I ever need their services again!

I called today and asked if the could make a smart key for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler, they said yes, and to come to the shop. When I got to the shop, there was no technician to make the key. The person there called a technician and he showed up more than 20 mins later. After about 15 mins of rummaging through bins and bins of keys, the shop is very disorganized, and being on the phone to get help, the technician declares that they don't have a key that will work, but they could order one. It took me 20 mins to get to the shop and another 20 minutes to get home. So I wasted over an hour+ going to this place.

I called Advantage with 3% phone battery after my dog locked me out while I was taking out the trash. Adam showed up super fast and was able to unlock my door quickly. He was cheerful, easy to talk to, and even taught my dog some tricks. I appreciated him taking such good care of us, and making a stressful situation one that I could laugh about! I was locked out of my house by a defective deadbolt I had been struggling with since I bought the house. Danny was excellent. He arrived on time, listened to me, analyzed and fixed the problems that existed with the locks on both outside doors and was extremely nice. The invoice was very reasonable. Terrible experience waited almost 3 hours for him to realize he was not thinking and starting our car without pressing the break down, repeatedly cranking the ignition and making multiple phone calls during. He said he was going to take $30 off our total which was $125 but when we realized he wasnt pushing the break down I had to tell him how to start a car as a 18 year old telling a grown adult how to start a car. So I asked for more off and thankfully was only charged $65. Do not recommend find a better well organized place...

Called on a Saturday with an issue with my car not staying turned on; where you had to hold the key in a specific place or it would die. Lady on the phone didn't seem interested in being there, but I gave my information and she said someone would call me. 20 minutes later I got a call from someone named Adam who said he could come by and look at it. When I asked him how much it would cost is where he started getting irritated. He grumbled and said it would be $29 for the diagnosis plus whatever it would cost to get it fixed. I asked if the diagnosis given would be the exact reason because it could be anything and he yelled and just said come in on monday. Well, this experience made sure I won't be doing that. Neither of my questions were inappropriate, I don't know why he felt that way.TO THE OWNER RESPONSE: MONEY WAS NEVER THE ISSUE. Im not sure how you can record a phone call given that Adam placed it over a mobile phone. I said that it could have been a bad barrel lock or ignition switch and I was not sure. This could have needed the attention of a mechanic or a locksmith, THATS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DETERMINE IF HE COULD GIVE ME A 100% ANSWER. I would have happily paid. If you heard any sort of recording you would have heard him getting short and loud with me. Nice professionalism you guys have.

Very pleased with the help I received from Adam today. I ran into to some issues with my immobilizer and my ECU not reading my chipped key during a full auto to manual to manual swap.. Adam took the time to help me trouble shoot. He tried resetting my keys to match the new ECU but the car was rejecting them. After a few trys with multiple computers he suggested making a new key. He was persistent in helping me make sure I had a key that would work and even stayed to make sure the car would start one he made the new key. 10/10 recommend. Very helpful, persistent and professional.

Adam was fantastic! Another locksmith company came when my son accidentally locked us out of the house and planned to charge me $380! I sent that guy away. Adam had me send him a photo of my door knob BEFORE he arrived and assured me it would be much less. He was very professional.

AVOID AT ALL COSTSAfter accidentally locking my keys in my car I called a few locksmiths before settling on this one. The lady on the phone said the average fee was '$29 plus $39.' So an average of $68. Considering that most of the places I called quoted around $80 I decided to go with them and had a tech come to my location.When the tech arrived I showed him my car, he popped it open, then said 'That'll be $29 plus $39.' I paid with a card, shook his hand, and I was on my way.The next day I looked at my bank account to see that he'd charged me $150. Thinking this was a mistake I called Advantage and explained what happened. The man on the phone stopped me and asked if the tech had ever verified that I was the owner of the car and it suddenly occurred to me that he never actually did. So not only was I severely overcharged but there was nothing at all preventing my car from being stolen. The man I spoke with told me that the manager was not there though, and that he'd take my name and number and have him call me back.I never received a callback.I called a week later and the manager was still not there, but they'd take my name and number and have him call me back. I asked if there was a physical location I could visit to speak with someone directly and I was told there wasn't.A few more days and I called back, this time the manager had a family emergency and couldn't be reached. A few more calls yielded similar results.In summary, this service is completely uninterested in the security of its customers and will charge far more than what was agreed upon at the time of service. Avoid at all costs.UPDATEAdvantage Locksmith decided to respond to my review. Unlike their responses to other negative reviews this one almost sounds professional until you actually start reading it. Let's take a look.First I'm urged to 'check [my] sources,' that a lot of what I said doesn't reflect them, therefore I must have the wrong company.This is how Advantage Locksmith deals with its 'mistakes.' It differs blame to the customer. Before I posted this review I made sure that the number I'd called matched the number on the company's page. This is the correct company.I don't doubt that a lot of what I was told over the phone wasn't true, but that's what I was told.Next they said there is no record of multiple calls from me. How would they know? I never provided my number in this review, however, I'm assured that the manager is always available for customer service purposes. Again, I'm sure the manager was there, but over the phone I was told another story. They claim there's a brick and mortar store which may be true, but one of the people I spoke with on the phone told me there wasn't. The phone number was the same as the one on the google page.I'll say this though, through their unprofessional, shirking response to my review they say something we can both agree on. 'We advise you, and every other potential customer to do a research before calling to book a service.'Ignoring the condescension I completely agree. Do your research, see how many people have had similar bait-and-switch experiences with this company. Worse, see how many terribly unprofessional, evasive, and sometimes insulting responses are provided to those reviews.Furthermore, check their standing with the Better Business Bureau. At the time of this writing they have an F.

Worst experience ever after waiting for hours and multiple phone calls and explaining my job was on the line, I was finally told almost 3 hours later that a technician was no longer in my area because he forgot to call me...and thats it, a poor Im sorry we made you lose your job and thats it... they wont even try and make their mistake right... thank you for making me lose my job, now I dont know how im going to make my rent, not that you or your technicians actually care

Not honest, bad service. Give 1 price over the phone and when came in wanted to charge more saying need new keys and over the phone he said 1 car key is included. Dave got mad when I asked question and pricing we talked about, Kick our keys to the curve and was cussing and left. Thanks God we didnt do biz with him, so shady...I would never recommend David and his biz to anyone if u dont want to be overcharged and treated nicely. Other reviews are correct Im sure bc yes, this person loose his cool for sure.I called different person to do the same job, and that person made all my keys work (I didnt have to have anything new). Honestly that what makes a different. Unfortunately I cant trust this locksmith. We tried to call location trying to speak with owner but they were disconnecting our call (seems like the owner is the same guy who came over). WowIf u need recommendations I can recommend person who did our locks and he came over to our place and got done with all work without any additional and we paid $150

On June 5th, 2018 a technician from Advantage Premier Northwest Locksmith, named David, came to my business location to evaluate my two storefront doors and to make a recommendation for securing the doors with coded door locks. He suggested a particular set of locks, which he would have to order, and he would then return to install them. I agreed to pay for half of the cost of the locks and installation as a deposit on the lock order on that date. On June 19th, David returned to install the locks, but, instead, he destroyed the door frames and left the building unsecure. His first error was that he purchased the wrong locks for the doors. When they did not fit in the door frames, he advised a retro-fit of the door stops. I approved this based on the assumption that his proposed retrofit would complete the installation of secure door locks. However, the retrofit did not work. It left a 1/4 inch gap all along the vertical edge of the doors. David attempted to further retrofit the door stops, leaving a hell of a hatchet job on the door, and, ultimately, the retrofit still did not work. The locks were not secure - anyone could easily open the door with a putty knife!I complained about the locks being unsecure and the hatchet job on the door frames, but David said there was nothing he could do and could not fix it. I repeatedly asked to speak to his supervisor, but he insisted that he could not let me speak to the owner of the company or anyone else at the company that could resolve the issue. He made repeated calls to the owner on my behalf to request a refund or suggest a solution, but the owner refused to speak with me or give David authorization to refund my deposit. David further informed me that he could not make the door locks work on my doors. He stated that he does not have the ability to source a new door stop, the skill to machine metal the door stop to fit the locks he recommended, nor does he have the tools to do it even if he knew how. He refused to take the locks back and order the proper locks for my doors because he didn't know of any lock that existed that would work for my doors. He did not complete the job and refused to do anything more to fix it. Our agreement was that he would install appropriate locks on my doors, which he inspected prior to proposing these locks. Instead of delivering this result, I was left with badly damaged doors that did not lock.I did everything I could to resolve the matter and to give this company a chance to resolve the matter, but they refused to speak with me, much less fix it or take the locks back and provide a refund.This was an urgent matter. My commercial retail space had no locking doors. After a couple of days of trying to work with David, I called another locksmith to come in and secure my doors. They installed appropriate locks for the doors within a few hours, and took measurements for ordering new door stops to repair some of the damage to the door frames.I could find no online contact information to email to Advantage Premier Northwest Locksmith to request that they come get their door locks and provide a refund. So, I posted my complaint on Yelp, Facebook, and Google. FINALLY someone from their company (I don't remember who, the office manager, I think he said) contacted me and offered to resolve the situation. He came and retrieved their locks on June 25th and said that he would refund my deposit if I would remove my online reviews. Despite this blackmail approach to keeping their reputation clean, I complied with this request and removed my reviews, but they never provided the refund, so now I have disputed the charges with my credit card company and, of course, I have re-posted the full story.

Great service. Be sure to use these guys.Edit: I used to work for these guys, he will probably state I am lying, but I have proof of this. Meet good people working there, But they set you up for failure. all they want is income and don't care how much they throw on your plate and if you don't get it done quick enough they will yell at you for it and blame you. they expect you to work from 7am to 11pm and have no life. Probably would have a better employee rate, if you had actual hours to work. instead of working 80hr weeks and never making anything. 80hr weeks, making 500/wk or you have to break 2500 in commission to even get paid good.
