Don't buy online, go here first! As soon as you walk in they want to help you. They want your business and they do what they can to help. I have had multiple projects that I would explain to them and they help me find the parts. Their vast fastener selection is second to none! This is the kind of place that America is about. Great bunch of guys there. I was in town for an event and needed to make a car repair, handmaking a specialty tool with bolts and thread sizes that the big box stores don't have. This store is a classic old school hardware store that has '1 of everything'. The guys there helped me tremendously, and were awesome to deal with. Every small town should wish they had a place like this.

Excellent customer service. Have an older house and went everywhere looking for a replacement part. Lowes, Home Depot, True Value and also looked online to ship to me no one had it but Craigs Hardware. Price was reasonable and great service from beginning to end.

Excellent, immediate service. No looking for someone to help you. (Imagine that!) Friendly, knowledgeable staff and hometown atmosphere. Wide selection of hard-to-find small tools, drill bits and bolt hardware. Prices are a few % higher here but, they usually have what you need, when you need it. Better than getting dumb looks from the Big Box stores. Always look here 1st. It'll probably save you a trip.

Friendly and helpful staff that are knowledgeable about what they sell. There aren't too many privately owned hardware stores around anymore because of competition from big brand name companies so it's nice that Craig's is still around. Only negative is they do not sell sheets of drywall.

While some people may say this place is over priced, that's not really true. There are some convenience items they can't be competitive with when it comes to hardware they are reasonably priced. If you need a bunch of plumbing fittings go to national plumbing. If you are wiring a house go to Yesco. However if you need to pick up two items Craig's keeps it on the shelf for you and if you need hardware there is no comparison to a big box. Craig's blows them out of the water.

I took my snow blower here this winter because I couldn't get it started. They fixed it up for a very reasonable price and showed me what was wrong with it. This place is a bit of a drive for me, but I think it's worth it. I plan on taking my lawn mower there soon for some blade sharpening and maintenance.
