I've had two experiences with Key Harbor. The first was great. I needed a new key/fob combo for my Chevy that the key had fallen off of and was no longer usable. I made an appointment and was literally in and out in no time. My second experience however, is far from what I expected and will have me going else where from now on. I called there yesterday, spoke to a gentleman -Justin is his name I believe- and was given a quote of $55 for a new key fob for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Told me he would have to check availability and stated that they did not have any new fobs, but had a refurbished one. Send my son up there this morning for the key fob and he deals with Lizz. He is told that the key fob is going the be $125 for a new one or can be given a refurbished one for $75. My son, not knowing what to do, goes ahead and purchases the refurbished fob. When I find out the price difference, I call up there and speak to the same gentleman as I did yesterday and got told that he isn't sure where I got a quote for $55 from because they don't have any fobs in that range for a jeep. And then he tells me that yes he did give me that quote, but he was under the impression that I would be the one coming to get the fob, not my son. He dealt with me yesterday and my son dealt with Lizz so it's two totally different transactions. So I'm a little confused. Is the quote for $55 because I being a female got a 'special' rate from him? Or does my 16 year old son get a different quote because he is a child and being taken advantage of because he doesn't think to question the price difference? So when I ask these things to Justin.. I get told that I was given a quote on an older style fob and that my son came in with a different model and again, it two different transactions because I was expected to come in today, not my son. Hmmm.. why wasn't this new/old fob price explained yesterday? I was only told one price on one kind of fob. Personally I don't care if it's an older model, newer model, or one dipped in gold- if you quote a price, don't come back less than 24 hours and give me every excuse in the world about why it's different. And then don't try and tell me that your under a new owner and there's been a lot of changes. At this rate.. y'all might need to start over again because clearly whatever y'all have going on now is not working out. Do better. At this day in age, your word means everything and when you can't get your words- or excuses- straight.. then what is the purpose of being a service to the public?

Liz was awesome! Super friendly took care of me last minute and was very fast. Needed a new FOBIK. As a former Chrysler technician I knew from a dealership this would be $350+, Liz did it half that price and in a millionth of the time. Highly recommend Key Harbor.

This was my first time using this locksmith as we just moved back to this area. I am highly impressed at the professionalism, speed, and pricing! They were very professional MCM very genuine. The pricing was more than fair I would say slightly less than most locksmiths and both of the keys that I got work perfectly the first time with no issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend them!

I needed to get replacement keys cut and programmed for my somewhat rare Lincoln Mark LT truck. The young lady who took care of me was very professional, did great work and got them done quickly. I researched the cost and they are about half the price of taking it to a new car dealer. I highly recommend Key Harbor.

I went to have a high security key&fob copied and programmed for my Subaru. I can not emphasize the level of professionalism and knowledge the staff had. The owner was present and active in her business. The job was thorough and top notch. The office was pleasant and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Also, after price matching I found their prices to be not only competitive but the lowest. If you need a fantastic programmer/locksmith this is where it's at

SIGNS ASAP

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I am the owner of Signs ASAP and Key Harbor gets their signs with us. Well, I made a personal purchase of a used van that came with two key fobs that did not work very well AT ALL... the buttons were difficult to press but all of the doors were automatic... I was so SAD! Naturally, I took them to Lizz at Key Harbor and she FIXED THEM LIKE MAGIC! Very FAST turn around and FRIENDLY service. It was SO NICE to not have to go to the dealership (I know they would have charged 3x the amount) I'm very happy and recommend Key Harbor for all of your key needs!

Great service by Lizz! I went to Key Harbor to get two new key fobs for my car. Instead Lizz was able to repair both fobs for the price of a new one. She could have sold me two new fobs that I didn't really need. Her prices are also better than the big chain stores. I will definitely go back!
