The tech JC came out in less then 15 mins and got my car open in less than a minute! 3 years ago my wife I hired Whitley's Lock and Safe to rekey our whole house and install a brand new deadbolt on our basement door. When the brand new deadbolt on basement door broke, locking me out of the basement, I called Whitley's Lock and Safe to see if they could fix it. They told me their was no warranty on their work, and 'sometimes the locks just break' and then said in addition to the cost of the repairs, their would be a charge for the trip to my house. My family and I have been loyal customers for 20 or more years, and we used Whitley's Lock and Safe for all our needs. Several years back, the Whitley family sold the company to it's current owners, and we continued to use them despite the noticable change in how the company was run... No more.

I recently purchased a $3000 safe from Whitley's lock and safe and have had nothing but problems with the product and owner. As we discussed and even annotated on the receipt, the safe was to be delivered on Wednesday 12/19. On Tuesday, I receive a call from my wife stating that someone was at our gate trying to deliver a safe. She ends up taking off from work (teacher) and has to use an absence. The delivery guy got a really bad attitude with her and even used profanity. Later the sales person (Dave) admits that this was his mistake. Dave also told me that each shelf could withstand over 100 pounds of weight, so I can store a variety of heavy objects on each shelf. This information was inaccurate and a deal breaker in my opinion. Also, every single shelf in the safe was installed improperly. They were all slanted at an angle. I made the mistake of testing one of the shelves and an entire box of silver bars (20 lbs) crashed through the shelf and scratched up my wooden floor. So now I have an unusable safe, scratched up silver bars and major scratches on my wooden floor. Had the safe been delivered the day it was supposed to I would have sent it back and not accepted it. I was very clear with them about not being there until that Wednesday, so I feel that they tried to pull a scam on me all while the delivery guy cussed at my wife and cost me an additional $300. After a few weeks of waiting they finally send a locksmith out to my home to evaluate the situation. He laughed when he went shelf by shelf and saw that they all had been installed wrong. In his words he said 'man, this has been like the perfect storm.' He left all of the shelfs off, because he admitted that this safe won't work for what I'm using it for because the base is made of particle board. I asked him what were the next steps and he gave me a very cold look and said 'I'm not the boss, but you will eventually hear from him.' I have since called Whitley's 3 separate times and have been told Todd (owner) would call me back. He never has, so I decided to go by last week and was blown away by the way I was treated. I explained again that the safe was delivered on the wrong day and all of the other issues that have gone wrong. He looked at me and said, 'too bad, the safe was delivered.' I still am in shock that he is in business with that type of an attitude to a client that spent exactly $2,978.34 on December 11, 2018.

Courteous service and extremely fast! Had a key break in half with only a vent cracking spare remaining. Only this place had the key blank I needed for my vehicle. Price was so low I felt compelled to buy two plus a home hey spare. They even lubed my lock after checking it for proper function. A+

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Stellar service and highly recommended! Excellent, honest and professional service! Rapid response also! I talked with the owner who was very honest and informative. J.C, the locksmith that visitd me to replace the house front door lock was very knowledgable, honest and professional! He even made it where we would not have to change to new keys. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to all my friends as well. Actually their prices and services were much better than others. Quoted prices remained so with of course tax added.

Called a few places, yes found a couple that were a tiny bit cheaper but Whitleys had the best customer service! Dave was who I spoke to over the phone and he was very helpful. Cant remember the name of the man that came out and unclocked my car but he was also very friendly and professional. The entire process took under 5 minutes. I will definitely recommend this place!

Great service. I called with an issue with our gun safe & spoke with a sweet knowledgeable woman who gave me info & pricing. I called back and few days later because I was mistaken on some information I gave the woman on the problem with our safe. This time I spoke with the safe technician & he gave me some simple troubleshooting tips to try. I tried them & it worked! I was able to get the safe open. He easily could have came out & charged me a couple hundred dollars to open it because that is what I was expecting. From now on I am a lifetime customer & will give them whatever business I can. I went to them for a gun safe, and a to match the locks on a motorcycle to a single key. They educated me on the different types of safes, and the benefits of each and helped me select an appropriate safe for my needs. They even talked me out of more expensive ones as being more than I needed based on what we discussed instead of trying to upsell me on something I didn't need. The owner had the safe ready to be delivered next business day and set it up in no time, with the delivery arriving on time. In addition I can now operate the motorcycle and its saddlebags with 1 key instead of 3. Very happy with what I spent and the service provided, would recommend.

Very nice--had replacement key for my 2009 Taurus and they needed to cut key and make sure it worked. Within 5 minutes had key in ignition and configured to car. Very, very nice experience and reasonable priced.They had a HUGE selection of safes on store, would recommend to friends.

I called Whitley's because I had a problem with my ignition locking up they came out a few days laterand repaired the ignition and charged me $246.00 or so the tech said I had a 30 day warranty if any problems came up. the very next morning it would not start had the same problem. I called right away like he said but due to the holidays they could not get to it for a few days. I called Monday following and their solution was to buy a replacement ignition and charge me another $200.00 with no guarantee that it would solve my problem .I asked to speak to a manager but he could not come to the phone and would call me back, as of this day I have not received call from anyone.so I sent it to a repair shop to see what they could find out. needless to say their warranty is worthless to me and so is their word of promise. they did not even come out to see if it had anything to do with the work that they did . I also spoke with the owner John Gather and he said he had no knowledge of my situation he wanted to send the tech out to look at it,but by then it was already being towed to the repair shop. very sad customer sometimes referrals are not your best route
