I don't normally leave reviews, but they deserve one. I called and met them at their office in Van Alstyne, and they were on time (actually early).He was professional and was very upfront and explained everything. While he was getting the keys and fobs done, she was very personable, respectful, and nice. We talked like she was a friend of the past. I needed fresh keys since mine were so worn out, so I had to show them my title and drivers license. I'm personally glad to see this because it shows they follow the rules/laws, nothing 'shady'.I brought in my own keys and key fobs and he didn't have a problem at all to do it even though I didn't buy them from him. They are the owners and it shows. They will definitely get referrals from me for now on.

Look no further for your locksmith services. Jacob is knowledgeable and efficient. He was a huge help today, where another local locksmith in Sherman fell short and couldnt help me. Plus they were going to charge me 225% more than Lone Star, so this was a huge help. Needed 2 keys made for my 2012 Honda Odyssey. I didnt need the key fob programmedIll do that myselfjust a key duplicated because I only have 1 key that operates my van. I bought 2 keys on Amazon for $10 apiece and he was able to use those. (Thanks to YouTube sensation and mechanic Scotty Kilmer for the recommendation to save me money from going to a Honda dealership). Jacob charged me significantly less than $100 and I was in and out the door in 15 minutes. What a Life saver and I didnt have to break the bank!

First new car and of course I jump out to get groceries inside and my son locked the doors!! Key and purse inside called the insurance company and they wouldnt send someone without prepayment. Really Thankful for them to come far from their location. They arrived on time and were very fast lost my only key for my car fair price for the total time they had to travel. If you live in the are of Denison/Sherman or surrounding small cities and your local locksmith charges you $250+ give Lone Star Locksmith a call they're really friendly and professional with their work. Not surprised they have NO bad reviews on 5 Star reviews. Thank You guys again for coming far to fix my issue! Will definitely contact them again if anything.

They deserve more than a five star review! I called to have additional locks put in for security, and they went above and beyond, coming out within a few hours of my call, and making a special trip to McKinney to get the lock set I decided I wanted after they got here.Everything was explained in detail beforehand, and they showed me how everything worked afterwards. Very friendly and professional. Theres not even a speck of dust left from installation. The cost was more than reasonable especially considering the extra trip! I highly recommend Lone Star Services.

Lone Star Locksmith saved my day! My son had a tennis match out of town and somehow managed to lock his keys in his truck while it was running at the donut shop! Also, his phone and all of his and 2 other peoples tennis gear was in there! Let me also add that this was at 6 am this morning! Lone Star locksmith is a small family owned business (husband and wife team). My family has used them twice. Always professional, quick and very cost effective. I am to the area and wasn't sure who to call. I called Lone Star Locksmith Services, after multiple other places were unable to help me make a copy of a unique (and old) key. Within minutes of calling Lone Star Locksmith Services, the owner was on location and was able to rekey the doors, make multiple copies - all while maintaining the historic and original lock panels, I was losing hope I'd be able to keep. I cannot recommend them highly enough! They are fast, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with in general. I will never use anyone else.
