This is the way it was before big box. Charming. Helpful staff, amazing, cool building and stuff you can't find in many hardware places. Also, huge selection of farmer boots. Western boots. And clothing. Love this place (and I'm from NYC originally!)

A wide selection of products including apparel, hardware, and even food. The staff is local and small town pleasant. Sometimes deals really are amazing. The only downside is the wide selection is often times difficult to navigate.

This place seriously has everything! I could spend hours here. Its such a unique building with history. Camping gear, horse equipment, gardening they have it all .They have so much clothing to choose from thats carharrt and so many fancy cowboy boots.They have great prices and everyone is so friendly.

Smithfield Implement is one of those country hardware stores that you go to, not for the best prices, but for the experience. There is a little something for everyone. You always have an idea what you need and then leave with a stuffed chicken, pair of boots, and three random hand tools instead. The staff is always courteous and helpful and more than willing to help you find a solution to fix any problems you bring them.

This place is a gem of Cache Valley. Everytime we have both been there Smithfield Implements customer service has been Top Notch! They also have the best deals on quality, not cheap, cast iron like Lodge. And great deals on name brand good quality boots! Highly recommend them for all your outdoor adventure and farming needs.

We purchased an ice cream machine from Smithfield implement in October last year. It was their last one. Apparently, they put the 4 quart display into a 6 quart box. They sold it to us as a 6 quart machine. When we pulled the machine out to use it this spring, we realized that the 6 quart machine that we purchased was actually the 4 quart machine. I took the machine back to exchange it out for the correct item and was told they couldnt help me. We have purchased 10 machines from them over the year for different family members. The owners son was the one helping me. He was EXTREMELY rude. He made me feel like I was a villain trying to pull a fast one on him. There was zero customer service and the experience was so unpleasant I will never shop here again! I definitely would have given this zero stars if that was an option. Or even negative stars. I have told everyone that I ran into what a poor experience this was hoping that none of them will ever shop there again also. In talking with my sister and another neighbor I found that they had the exact same, negative experience with customer service! Better wise up, Smithfield Implement!

I went in there today 12/31/19... I've always had good experiences there until today... I was looking at some Carhartt jackets. Of course they didn't have my size so I asked. They were currently having a 20 % off sale ok coats and jackets they said they would order me Thejackets and I would still get the discount.they looked it up on the computer where I could clearly see the price she went back too double check with the boss she came back and told me 75 dollars for a jacket that was 60. So I said something about she went and talked to whoever and 5 or so minutes later she came back and said they could do 64.99 but without honoring there own sale. Cuz they'd have to pay the freight. So that's basically me paying 5 dollars more than anywhere else in town when they're supposedly having a sale. Sooo basically they don't Honor what there own sales. I typically go here weekly but won't be going back again. Apparently I'm not Worthy of their sale

Having not grown up in Smithfield, the implement does not have an emotional pull to me. However I can relate it with a mini Smith and Edwards. They have anything you want, if you can find it.The only reason for the 4 star is the prices are above average, you shop there for the experience, the local feel, and the tie with the community. If your price shopping you'll likely find lower prices elseware.

I love this place, and it's conveniently located if you live in Smithfield. The only problem I have is the hours. They close at exactly 5:55pm which can be frustrating if you are trying to grab some parts for a project after work.
