Called in for my mother who doesnt speak English well and keys are locked in her car. The guy claimed that it was a prank call and said he wouldnt help me. I even told him the address and all he said was I hope you find someone to help you. I called back twice and left a voicemail. My brother has been outside for 2 hours trying to get the keys. I do not recommend these guys, save yourself the trouble.

Called to ask questions about gaining access to a property I own. I've never been spoken to the way this person spoke to me. He was rude from the beginning, and when I asked to make an appointment he told me 'good luck' and hung up on me. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I locked my keys in my car around 8:15 and called these guys. Someone responded with hello? and I asked if they could help me. They said theyd be there at 9. At 10 I called and left a voicemail asking if they were still coming. By 11 they never called me and they wasted hours of my time. I called Big Lick Locksmith and they had great customer service and had my car unlocked 20 minutes later. Do not give these guys your money, there are other businesses that actually care.

False advertising. Claims to offer emergency service until 3am. Called about 12:30am and was refused service. The fellow was very rude. He did not like me pointing out that he wasn't providing emergency service. I hung up and he decided to call me back to berate me. When I wasn't impressed he offered to come to my location to beat me up. Yeah, get your locksmith services from someone else.

Would give less stars if I could. I get locked out my house, call these guys, the guys says 'yeah, we're not going to be able to help you tonight'. I start to ask, 'why is that when will you be free?' and he hangs up on me before I even finish. Zero professionalism.

I called these guys yesterday. Whomever I spoke to just answered the phone 'hello' and sounded annoyed over the phone. I asked if this was Big Lick Locks and he said 'yeah'. OK. He sounded bored an uninterested when I told him my problem and suggested I go to a dealership. He wasn't polite or helpful at all. I feel like he didn't listen to what I was saying. I should have hung up as soon as he said 'hello'. What kind of business answers a phone in that manner??

We lot locked out of house and I called these guys with the hope that they will help to open the door. The person who answered the phone was very rude unprofessional and condescending. He kept repeating that he did not understand what I was saying. One of the worst customer services experience ever. I had to hang up and call Security Lock and Key. Those guys were amazing.

I called BigLicks Locks on Richards Blvd at 7:45 pm on a Monday evening because they advertised extended hours and I needed an inside door in my sister's home unlocked. After verifying the address, I was told 'someone will be there within 45 min to an hour.' An hour and 30 minutes later, after no one showed up and no one called with any status or issues, I attempted to make contact. The phone went right to voicemail, as though it had been turned off.My sister's home is in town, easily located via map or GPS and I verified with the individual that took my call that my contact number was on the caller id if anyone from BigLicks needed to call me back.As a contract IT person, who is familiar with long hours and unexpected issues, I understand the challenges of a small business, particularly if you work alone most of the time. One thing that is unacceptable is a lack of communication with your customers. Without customers, your business, small or large, does not exist. Any business owner that has so little respect for their customer's that they don't show up for a job, and don't call or text with a status or an alternative, doesn't deserve to be in business.After seeing other recent reviews regarding this business's unprofessional and unreliable behavior, and my own experience with this company, it's obvious that this business's owner / employee's only work when it's convenient for him / them. Folks, there are several other professional and reliable locksmiths in the same area as BigLicks Locks. Consider giving one of them your business and taking a pass on this company. You will likely save yourself much in time and frustration. I certainly wish I paid more heed to the unhappy reviewers of this company.

So yesterday March 5, 2016 a friend locked her keys in her car and didn't have a spare. I called them at 6:00 pm and gave them all the information and I was told that the technician would be there in about 45 minutes to an hour and that I would get a call from them when he's about 5-10 minutes away. I then received a call at 6:34 pm and was told that the technician got held up at another job and that it was going to take longer I said Ok. I didn't hear from them so I called at 8:30, no answer and left a voice mail asking what was going on. Here it is 11:00 on March 6, 2016 and I have yet to recieve a call back from. Thank god one our friends had an unlock kit and came and unlocked the vehicle. Do not use these guys. They will waste your time and not show up and not even give a call and let you know that they want make it.
