Locksmith Ronnie was wonderful. The service provided was excellent. Response time was very fast. It took about 10 minutes or less for him to arrive since I live close to the business location in Fairfax VA. My car key was locked inside the car. My phone, wallet, and backpack, which contained my spare car keys, were also inside the car. Talk about how frustrating that is! Luckily, at least this happened at home when I was about to drive out. Because this happened at home and my wife was home at the time, I can use her phone to call for help. I don't know how my car key can just (magically) lock by itself after I put it inside. I did not push any button on the key after unlocking my car and then putting the key inside. When Ronnie from Total Security Locksmith arrived, he was able to unlock it in a few minutes without damaging any parts of my car. Fantastic! I am glad he can help me unlock my car door very fast. I thought the price was fair. It was $90 to unlock my 2012 Hyundai Sonata vehicle. Highly recommend Total Security Locksmith if I ever need them to unlock my car in the future, which hopefully I will not be needing. Thank you for the wonderful service!

I utilized their services on July 20, 2019. He cut and programmed a key for my minivan for $80. In addition, he repaired the current key for $65. The dealer wanted at least $150 to cut and program one (1) key. Total Security hooked me up on short notice too. I would definitely recommend their services.

Their prices are way to high. They wanted $70 to cut a key to a vehicle. I got it cut at another place for $35. Shop around for better prices. I am guessing they charge such high prices because most people that call have been locked out and need someone ASAP.Update:This is in response to the owners comments. I made it very clear that all I needed was a key cut and I did not want/need any programming. I am using the chip from a remote that is already programmed. I never hung up on you. I simply said I can get it done cheaper elsewhere. If you feel we got disconnected then why not call me back to clarify?? Instead of typing that long of a response why not call me?? Thank you for the coffee comparison. Whether or not I purchased something from your business my review was to alert others of my experience.

Total Security Locksmith is beyond amazing! My experience made me feel like I was part of their family. I had a serious dilemma in August when I went on vacation in Barcelona and forgot an essential part of my trip back in my home in Fairfax -- the keys to the Spanish apartment where I was staying. Ronnie was so polite and was empathic to my request. Instead of just writing off my problem and saying, 'that's not something we can do,' he figured out how to get me my keys. After verifying that I did live in my house and had the authority to ask him to pick the lock on my apartment door, he went in, got the Spanish apartment keys, and then took them to FedEx to overnight them to me! He really went above and beyond his standard requests to make sure that I was taken care of.

We had an issue arise with our deadbolt at the last minute on the same day that our house was going on the market. Needless to say, this was something that needed to be taken care of right away! Initially, we called a locksmith wed used in the past, but they were unable to commit to getting anyone out to look at it before 5pm (and they even said it may be later than that)! We googled area locksmiths to see about getting someone out more quickly and stumbled across Total Security. They dispatched someone within half an hour and took care of the problem efficiently, and for about half the price of what wed expected to pay! We will definitely be calling them first next time!
