I received great service recently from Mike at Shorty Wallin Lock & Security. I had to replace my ignition switch in my 2005 Honda Accord and Mike re-keyed my door lock to fit my new ignition key in less than an hour and at an affordable price.Also, an old warn plastic piece on the cable to my door latch broke and kept me from opening door from the inside. Mike ordered new part, came to my home and replaced it in about 15 minutes at no additional charge.I highly recommend Shorty Wallin Lock & Security for all your locksmith needs. This business was a fine outfit in previous decades. I was very disappointed when I called to do some lock work on an automobile. Initially, they quoted a price which was higher than the new car dealer was asking. Later, charged me an extra fee for services which were not rendered and they just lied about it. You will probably would do better somewhere else.

I came to Shorty Wallin this morning to have a key cut and programmed for my car. Not only were they welcoming and kind when I arrived but they had me in and out in 20mins! And since I brought my own replacement key, they saved me money on the programming fee by putting my old chip in the new key. Saved me about $60! Bob did a terrific job replacing my car's ignition lock/switch. It was a complicated job in the heat and he took his time, was very professional, and was very careful to put everything back correctly. He also helped me confirm this was the problem before proceeding with the job.I used them a couple of years before and I had the same excellent experience - they helped solve the problem without actually replacing the locks.Highly recommend them.

Outstanding service at this locksmith. They helped me get the keys cut to build a Keyport Slide, and gave me a detailed explanation for why one of the keys wouldn't work. I am always greeted with a smile, and having a warranty on their keys doesn't hurt either.

I used Shorty Wallin to install Medeco locks in my home. I thought someone was breaking into my home - I had a laptop, cash, chef knives, jewerly etc taken. I had them change it again but didn't have them change my burglar alarm again. Then on Friday August 9th, 2013 I came home early from work and saw a Hampton Police Officer and a Virginia State Trooper coming out of my home using a key. I live in Newport News. The trooper was a white female with blond hair driving a dark gray crossover with license plate 8675US. I wouldn't trust him again. Now I have to get new locks and a new burglar alarm.
