A friend called and asked if I knew a Locksmith. I did not but Googled Locksmiths bear me and gave her number for Dominion. She called me back to say how pleased she was with the receptionist (friendly and helpful) punctuality quality and cost. Glad I recommended a business that still provides courteous, prompt service at a reasonable cost

I've been going to this place for about a year. We do a lot of multi family rentals many in high security high-rise buildings . At first they were very professional and knowledgeable. But my most recent job I used them for was the worst experience I've ever had , with any company. I gave them 4 different keys and asked for a total of 11 copies , several of each. It took over 2 hours for them to be cut. A very nice older man could not find the proper blanks . He asked for help from two other locksmiths in the shop and there were several others , but no one helped, they only said , the blanks were over there somewhere. I returned to my job late because all of this , And only one of the 11 keys worked . I called the and all they said was I must not be pushing the keys in far enough and I should try WD 40. They finally agreed to cut new keys if I returned to the shop. I asked what would happen if those keys didn't work . They said just bring them back and they would try again. I took them back and it took about another 2 hours. My drive was 1 hour each way . 4 hours each time . And they acted like they were doing me a favor by doing all this for me. There is much more to this story , but this post is too long already. These are expensive blanks the bill was $60 and they offered no price break and I'm not sure I even got an apology .

Great service! I called them a day prior to line up lock change at a specific time, they arrived when I asked on time and ready. The locksmith swapped our mortise cylinder out and gave us recommendations for what we needed on our rear door add well. Always appreciate quick, friendly and especially timely service. We will be using again in the future to swap out rear mortise cylinder as well, and will keep them on file for any door and lock issues.

I would have put less than one start but I don't thinks its possible. As for service I called them on 7/5 at 3pm. Dude told me he had no idea on cost even when I asked him for a general house door lock replacement. Then he told me that he dod not have any techs at that time but that I could call back after 5pm because he would have techs then but it would be an additional $100 to $150 charge on top of parts and labor , funny how he got that price. In closing I went with Richmond Locksmith and they where there within 45 minutes. they looked at the door quotes me a price and it was done. I was going to to go with the first company I called because it was an American company but since they where trying to screw me I said screw them. So much for americans doing right by americans.

I have gotten bad key copies at so many places, but Kim and Holly at Dominion are experts. Every key works smoothly. Today I got 2 programmed keys for my Mustang for $152. The dealer wanted $160 for 1. Holly had the whole job done in 15 minutes. Service included hooking their computer up to my computer thru the underdash data connector and then cutting and programming both keys. I went from 1 key (and a potential $250+ headache if I lost it) to 3 keys and no worries. In another instance, Mike at Dominion did a great job on a home visit. We removed the rear seat from a car and he crawled into the trunk and removed the clips holding the lock, removed the lock cylinder, then freed the tumblers and made 2 keys: $145. Excellent service.
