Greg did a great job adding more sensors to two exterior doors and went above and beyond by checking my systems battery and making sure my smoke detectors were clean and functioning. He was very helpful in answering my questions and some I didnt even think to ask him he brought up. Richmond Alarm is great...they are local and looking out for you 24-7. Cant beat that!

I moved to a new house with an existing alarm system with keypad, exterior door sensors, and interior motion sensors, but no motherboard. Ryan did a walk-through and gave me a quote based on a motherboard and 1 hour of labor. Greg did the install but I ended up needing a new keypad too and it took 3 hours, so the final cost was almost 3 times the original estimate. Greg called his office and offered to only charge me for 1 hour of labor. I still had to pay more than the original quote because I had to pay for the new keypad, but I thought this was a fair compromise for everyone. Greg answered all my questions and handled the cost issue swiftly and professionally. I don't know if another alarm company would have done the same for me. Thank you, RAC!

Great company. So glad I went with a local company. The initial sales experience was good and we enjoyed having Tom in our house. He was not pushy but fed us all the details we needed to make an informed decision a few weeks later. When I've needed to contact the company twice regarding a service matter -a weak wi-fi signal and later repositioning of door contacts after the door was painted, they were courteous, professional, and very responsive, Service person arrived on time and was professional and efficient. Greg came by to replace the battery in my cell backup unit. He was polite and friendly. He finished the job in a few minutes and was on his way. I've had RAC for 8 years now and they've been great! Always get a call within a minute or two of alarm going off (usually my fault by accident) which leaves me confident I will be covered in the case of a real incident.
