I called on 5/26 to schedule an appointment to get new lock and keys made for a retail space on 6/2. The time I got was between 12pm and 4pm. Come 6/2, at 2:00pm I called to make sure that the appointment was still on. The call taker assured me that, yes, the tech is coming. At 4:30pm, I called again since the tech did not show. A different call taker informed me that the tech is running late and cannot be there in time today. She asked if I can reschedule to the next day with the same time frame. I stated the fact that I had moved my day a round just to be there today and can not do another day of this. After some back and forth, the call taker stated that the tech can be there between 7pm-9pm. Even though this is much latter than planned, I said yes anyway since my goal was to have the job done today. The call taker promised that the tech will call 30 minutes before he comes.At 5:30pm the tech, Max, showed up, without call ahead, and looked at the locks. He then stated that he doesnt have the right tools with him and cannot do the job today, and told me to call the call center and make the appointment for the same time frame again for the next day. I explained to him that I had waited around all day today and asked him what reassurance I would have if he would be on time the next day if I were to reschedule. He said he cant make any promises and told me to call his boss, Floyd, if Im not happy.I understand things dont always go as planned, but when you make a mistake or run late, the least you can do is offer an apology and recommend a remedy to your customers. I did not neither from the technician, the call taker, or the owner.

If I could give a half star I would. I called to make an appointment to replace three door knobs and re-key three deadbolts. I got an answering machine and left a message. I never got a call back. The same thing happened a few years ago but I figured things might have improved so tried them again. Being stubborn, I called again and got a person. I explained my needs and was encouraged that the woman asked good questions and repeated my request accurately. The tech couldn't come for several days but that was fine. When he came, he did not have the hardware he needed, nor could he do what they had agreed to. We discussed what could be done, which increased the projected price significantly, and I agreed. The tech agreed to call me back when he had a final estimate and the needed hardware. He never called. I finally called to cancel everything. Of course, they didn't answer and I had to leave a message. I assume they got it and didn't care as I haven't heard anything further. I won't ever try this company again.

I wanted to replace a dead bold on my door, which doesn't have the actual bolt to easily lock and unlock from the inside. Upon talking to Andrew he mentioned that the 2 side key dead bolts are used when there is a window in the front door. Instead of still selling me their services (for something I shouldn't change) he educated me and we discussed other options, like a chain or hotel lock at the top of the door. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

We have had a terrible experience with Baldino's Lock and Key. Our first service appointment went fine the tech came and rekeyed our locks for $210. Within 4 weeks the lock he worked on broke. We ended up locked out of our house on a Friday night. We were charged $300 to get back in the house and then they left us with NO lock on our door because the tech didn't have the parts with him. It is now Wednesday and they have not come back to fix the lock nor have they called with any information about the parts. I called today to complain about the service and I was told the tech went on vacation. The office was not helpful in anyway to provide resolution to our problems. They would send someone else out to look at it. We are out over $500 and our door does not have a working lock. After pricing the locks at home depot we could completely replace everything for less than $120 with all new equipment! Wish we would have done this from the start.I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Locked myself (and toddler) out of the house. Baldino's saved the day! The wait time was longer than I wanted, but I booked them while looking for other locksmiths. They ended up coming early (less than 1.5 hours from the initial panicked phone call) and before I could secure anyone else to come. The technician was quick and professional. He helped me sort through all the keys left by our landlord and cut keys on site. Couldn't be happier!
