Great customer service. I only walked about 10 feet into the store and someone asked to help me. I told her what I needed and she walked me to another person who helped me get what I needed. They had a specialty bolt that other stores didnt have. This is the go to place for hard to find items.

I have always liked coming into your store. You ha e eveything to offer. But the last two times have beem a bad experience for me. No one wearing a mask. Caught one cashier talking about how she hates wearing the mask an did not have one on. So i will not be visiting your store anymore or at least some consideration is displayed to your patrons.

We did not have a great experience. We asked a question regarding a screw and were waved in the general direction of the screws... sales clerk was arrogant and rude. No one was wearing masks or abiding by current social distancing measure. The check out woman was very nice but again no mask etc. would not recommend...at least not at this particular time. Very disappointed.

Really dont see hardware stores like this to often even in your travels let alone in a city that it stands in. My father had watched this store thrive over the many decades and has many friendships with the associates and I believe that means a lot to him when he comes in for something and has a chat as well. The companys name has been around for 130 years. Its definitely apart of Winchesters history in a small measure for sure.

Needed a 40+ year old motor for exhaust fan replaced. Already vintage. They were able to replace it in a few hours. Great friendly people to deal with. Highly recommended for excellent service. Thank you James. Works like a charm.

This is hands-down my favorite hardware store! Having a father who is a general contractor, & having worked as a laborer for him, I feel confident in saying that I have been to a great many different hardware stores with locations spanning from the Chicagoland area to the east coast. These lovely individuals are authentically friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. The store is immaculate, & the selection is spot-on. The layout is straight-forward & makes sense. If you cant find something, believe me youll easily find a pleasant associate to not only point out, but more often than not, escort you to where your whatchamacallit is! I will always support local small businesses. Look no further, this is the go-to place.

Went from 'the competition' at the corner of 81 and 7, to this place after a horrible experience... Solenberger TruValue is awesome, and my wife and I have a new home. Every person in this establishment is amazing! From the greeting walking in, to the help we got from all of the employees, this was a wonderful experience! While some prices MAY be higher than the local big box stores, the service, good cheer, and wonderful knowledge base makes it worth it! Again, we will be back many times. This is like an old fashioned hardware store, and we loved it.

This is a fantastic hardware store, clean and bright, but has the feel of knowledgeable expertise from its employees and mgmt. like an old-fashioned hardware store where they have all sorts of interesting things and they don't mind answering your questions or giving you some sage advice. I could spend days in this place. It's homeowner heaven. And the prices are competitive to the big box stores. This is not an 'elite boutique'. It's just down-home good stuff.

My first time here today, and it was awesome! I have been looking everywhere within a 50 mile radius for a hard to find screw, with no luck. I walked in here and was warmly greeted and asked if I needed any help. When I told the gentleman what I was looking for, he personally walked me to the correct aisle and found the part for me. Not only did they have a rare hard to find item and huge selection of items, but more importantly, the customer service and ease of finding the item was great! The checkout was quick and friendly also. I love supporting hometown family owned businesses, so my daily will be back and I will spread the word about this great place!

Solenbergers is one of my favorite businesses. Yesterday I attended a class there. Afterward I had my picture taken with the 'real' santa haha, still fun as an adult! The place was all decked out festively. On display was as authentic Leg Lamp as featured in my favorite, A Christmas Movie. It is a fundraiser for a local child; please come purchase a chance or more to win this ACTUAL quality Leg Lamp. The guy who helped my husband was very knowledgeable and willing to help. My husband was working on our well and needed to talked to someone who had delt with that kinda thinf before. The guy was very nice and helpful. Most places will tell u to call a technician to come out but you have to pay for information. This helped in the sense we needed a few questions answered and he did so. And also told us to call him ot come bring the part back if it did not work. And he would take it back.
