Called to have them unlock a car door. Was told $29 to unlock the door plus an additional amount that they couldn't quote over the. Technician showed up and quoted me $220 after taxes to do the job. I told him no thanks and then he said he would do it for $150. I told him no thank you again and he left. Dispatcher called me back 5 minutes later and said he could do it for a flat rate of $79. I told her i would gladly have paid that if they wouldn't have started out at almost three times that amount and that I'd be doing business with someone else.

Arrived promptly at my house, unlocked my car and went on his way. Only downside is I was quoted a different price on the phone from what he tried to charge me ($90 as opposed to $120). He gave me the original price after I pointed this out but a little annoying.

The lady receptionist should get 5 stars. However, I was told the cost would be between $60 - $70. However, the guy who showed up said it would cost $125 not including the fees. He said it was this price because it was a Sunday. So I told him I would call the lady receptionist to ask about the cost. BUT, he said, No worries, I will give you a discount for $100. Dont go here, I ended up paying $125 including the fees. Scammers. Nice lady receptionist. Tries to tell you theyll give you a discount but its still above the normal said cost. Never asking these guys again.Tried to unlock my car.

This is the second time I have used this company in the span of 10 days. The first time was to replace some locks at my office, and the second to install locks in our condos guest room. Both times the customer service was excellent and affordable. If youre looking for an honest locksmith company that does high-quality work at a reasonable price, I believe youll be hard-pressed to find someone better than these guys.

The first locksmith I hired not only didn't show up but didn't even bother to call me to inform me that they wouldn't show up.But thankfully Zip Locksmith was able to come shortly after I gave them a ring. To me, they were very professional and worthy of using again.

Dont think the person that showed up was a professional locksmith. He said the Schlage deadbolt couldnt be picked and said it had to be drilled. After he left did an internet search and the consensus is that a professional should be able to pick it. I know the internet isnt always right but there wasnt one article I could find that says they were pick proof. Some said that it poses more challenges to amateurs but that was about it. Not only did drilling cost more but it of course destroys the lock so you have to buy a new one. Also he gashed the door in the process And didnt say anything to us about it. In the end it sounds like we ended up with a destroyed lock (that didnt need to be). A gash in the door and out of pocket way more money than we should have been due to the drilling costing nearly twice as much pulse having to by a new set of locks. Go elsewhere where they have professionals
