Our camper van broke down on our way to a cabin for the holiday weekend. We happened to call the nicest and kindest tow truck company (Johnson's Towing) who not only towed the truck to a repair shop (who Ben knew personally and called at home), but took us in two vehicles (both Ben's personal vehicles) to a nearby hotel that allowed us to bring Blake (our dog) with us! Ben was very kind and caring throughout the whole process. He treated us like we were family or close friends! He even called the next day to offer a ride to get a rental car. On top of all that, the price was fair.

I can't believe I would ever be excited about a towing experience, but Johnson Towing has gone above and beyond in every way imaginable to make an unpleasant experience enjoyable. From bringing my family to their Grandma's house to wait for a ride, to working with the dealership we towed to, to picking up my keys before the dealership closed, to getting me and my equipment back to MN and working with AAA where they failed. The list goes on and on. Thank you Johnson Towing! Next time, I hope to see you on purpose rather than necessity, but I know you'll take care of us either way!

Truly thankful for their GREAT service. This past Saturday, I locked my keys in my car at a grocery store, and these guys not only answered on a Saturday morning (unlike another place), but showed up within 30 minutes, were polite/friendly, and waived my charge. I was SHOCKED! I would never have asked them to do it for free, but was truly dreading the cost, especially since I was in the midst of delivering someone else's groceries (yes, ice cream was in the backseat). They made my day so much better! HIGHLY Recommend!

If you need a tow in the Steven's Point area give these guys a call. Had two kids on their way to work on a black ice morning each end up in the ditch. Johnson's pulled both of them out quickly. They made sure the kids were safe and handled the tows professionally. I will definitely call them again if we need help, and strongly recommend them to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Service! I lost a wheel on the interstate just north of Stevens Point on my way back to Madison. Zack from Johnson towing showed up quickly and was extremely helpful. Not only did he give me a tow but him and a buddy went out of there way to fix my truck that night in just 2 hours so I could get back to Madison. Excellent Service! Best towing company I have ever used!

My friend locked her keys in her car by accident the day before Christmas Eve while we were ice skating and Johnsons towing came very quickly and opened her door no problem! The guy said Merry Christmas this ones on me so not only did we get her keys back but we also saved 50+ dollars because the guy was a saint!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10

I cant say enough of my experience. Got stranded due to PCM issue, but couldnt do much 160 miles from home. Called (on a Sunday no less) and without question picked up my 3/4 pickup and delivered it to my garage 160 miles on a Sunday evening. Im in sales, customer service is paramount. Not only did they exceed, they went above and beyond to make my bad day as good as possible!! Highly recommend their services for any towing need!

Awesome company to work with quick response time even when they do not have their tow truck because they are doing personal stuff they picked my husband and myself up brought us home first. After foolishly locking my car without a key to open it, I panicked as I had no idea how to get it back open. Being somewhat new to the area, I googled a locksmith. Johnson's Towing came up. I called, hoping they would be able to help. Not only were they able to help Benji was as my house in 10 minutes! And, my car was unlocked within 20 minutes! Benji was very professional and nice, even providing me with recommendations for service centers in Point. I would highly recommend Johnson's Towing to anyone. I know for sure, if I am in need of help again I will be calling them!

April 2019: Serpentine Belt busted on the car and battery died, leaving me stranded a couple towns over at 1am. Contacted all the so-called 24h towing companies in the area and received no answer multiple times from all except two. One stated they would be available at 11am, nothing like a 10h window stranded. Johnson Towing made it clear they would have a truck available within an hour (arrived within 30min) and the young gentleman who arrived greeted us warmly and professionally immediately got to work. It took longer to fill out the necessary paperwork and confirm the destination of my vehicle than it did for the Johnson employee to hook the car up and get back on the road. Very fast, efficient, and did not cost an arm and a leg for service requested.Unexpected situations can be tough. The most painful part of the whole situation was ending up having only one option out of five. That option, Johnson Towing, exceeded expectations, and I will remember them in the future.EDIT: 05/08/2019 Managed to lock my keys in my car. Tried wedging the door open myself and failed remarkably well. Called Johnson figuring at worst he'd be able to point me in the right direction to a reputable locksmith. Instead he came out and, with the right tools, popped my door right open, no damage, no hassle, pouring rain no less. His rate on this job was largely mileage and it didn't break the bank.

I blew a tire yesterday while driving with my family out in the countryside of central Wisconsin. I called Johnson Towing for assistance and was helped by a very friendly guy named Ben. He arrived promptly with a beautiful, brand new Ford F150 on his tow truck. He allowed me to drive my family home in his new truck while he towed my minivan to a nearby town for repairs. How many people would allow a complete stranger to drive a $60,000 vehicle of theirs? Ben is very trustworthy and his kind gesture to allow us to use his truck speaks volumes about his character! I am very appreciative of everything Ben did to help us out ! If you get stuck somewhere in Wisconsin and need help, call these guys and they will do an excellent job to assist you !

I was in a bad accident on 2/2/19. Truck rollover on Hwy 54. W an enclosed trailer attached. I called via 911. Johnson towing and was so happy I did. Ben and Zack showed up with 2 trucks and flipped the trailer over. And the truck back upright. But not only that, Ben was by me and calmed my nerves and offered me advice on my vehicle. While towing a large 5th wheel RV near Stevens Point, my truck turbo hose blew on Memorial Day 2018. After calling roadside assistance, Johnson Towing was there to help me within about 30 minutes. They were able to tow the truck and RV still attached all the way to Madison. Cost was reasonable and the service was fantastic. Very nice guys to interact with. Ben had to make multiple stops to get the RV dropped off and truck to the dealer. Then...drop me at a hotel. Great experience considering it was a bad day. Would recommend these guys to anyone. It's never a good day when you have to call for a tow. It's really not a good day if you have to do that 2 hours from home while you're 8 months pregnant. BUT, if you have to do it, you want to do it with Johnson Towing. My friend and I were lucky enough to share a nice little Sunday drive with Ben, who not only kept us thoroughly entertained, but also got us snacks and caffeine so we were slightly less crabby. His truck was clean and his humor was contagious. By the time we got home we had given him a nickname (Officer Qdoba), sampled all the goodies Wisconsin/Minnesota has to offer, and improved our joke repertoire. Oh and my car made it safely to its destination. Johnson Towing made a bad day a little brighter and we definitely won't forget Ben's kindness.

Amazing Service would be the best way to begin this but it doesn't even begin to detail what Johnson Towing did for us. It was January 29th and we were about 20 miles east of Steven Point at a hotel and about 40 Miles east of where we live. Temps dropped to almost -50 the evening of the 29th and the next morning when we were going to drive the last 40 miles of our trip, I went out at 6:30am and our brand new battery failed. We called a local company, they came 1 1/2 miles down the road, attempted to jump us, it didn't work and they charged us 50.00. They said it would be best if we called somebody from Wisconsin Rapids to come and tow us in. We called a Rapids Towing Company and they quoted us 365.00 to come and pick up our truck and deliver it to our warm garage in Rapids. They made it from Rapids to Plover and their Diesel Fuel Lines gelled up so they could not continue. We called another Rapids Towing CO. and they would not help due to the overwhelming calls for help due to the weather. We decided to try Stevens Point since it was in between where we were stranded and where we were going. We called Johnson Towing and They said they could come and get us later in the day and haul our truck to our home in Rapids. The price was under 200.00. We had a friend pick us up and take us to our home where we waited for our truck to be delivered. I kept in contact with the driver throughout the wait and he was always kind and answered my questions even though I knew he was swamped with calls in subhuman weather conditions. Our truck was delivered to our home about 5:30 and he told me he was going since 6:00 am and he had additional calls to do yet that evening. He explained what he thought the issue was and we discussed what my next steps should be to assure my truck would start in the morning. I took his advise and it fired up this morning and is running great. In horrible weather condition this company came through for us, they drove long distances to get our truck and bring it to us for a fair price when they could have made more money staying in Stevens Point assisting stranded drivers but they did the right thing and money was not the driving force in this decision. They are the only towing company that you need ever. They are so far above amazing and so far beyond life saving.Randy Jack

Had a flat (previous owners of my car took the jack and the lug nut wrench out, leaving me the spare, all the good that does, right?), and called these guys early this morning. They were out to me in under 20 minutes, very gentle with my car (it's a 98 3000GT, so not the easiest car to tow), top-notch, quality service, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Best tow company I've ever dealt with, these guys are the best! 5/5, would recommend! Definitely have their number saved for the next time I need a tow!

Broke down on a very cold evening with our 3 little boys and we could not have been more lucky with service we got with Johnson Towing. They went above and beyond for my family - inviting us to wait at Grandmas house, holding our trailer, bringing my boys treats while waiting for a ride & offering any other help that they could. Locked both sets keys in car last night after long busy night @ work. Love they're open 24hrs/day super conivent to call to make appt for moring. I called after 1130pm to schedule appt for this morning requesting whoever came out call on his way so I'd be dressed & outside waiting. KC called & gave me ETA met him outside & he got it open in minutes! He was nice, neat, clean, & professional & non invasive in methods to get car open. Prices super reasonable!
