I bought repo auto at auction. The fob ignition key failed. With $$$ dancing in my head for reprogramming/replacement. I called and explained that it had worked for 3 weeks. Told to bring by, may be a simple fix. Did and was. re-seated and glued the chip and I was on my way for cheap. : ) Pleasant, helpful and honest. Yes, I had an extra key.

Ignition cylinder on my Lexus RX300 locked up. I could insert and retract the key, but it would not turn to start the engine. I had my vehicle towed to the Lexus dealership. They wanted $800 to replace the cylinder. After doing research and asking around I determined this might be repaired by a locksmith. I asked a neighbor for a recommendation and he gave me C&S Locksmiths. I was immediately impressed by the exterior appearance of the shop and parking lot. Going into the shop, I was even more impressed with the orderliness and layout. 3 uniformed employees helping customers and 3 well kept vans in the parking lot. We met with Carlos, explained our problem and he confidently responded he could make the repair later that day or the next . We had the vehicle towed over from the dealership late in the afternoon. By about 10:30 the next morning Carlos called to let us know the job was completed. The cost was well under $300! A new ignition cylinder would have cost $500 from the dealer and upwards from $300 from an auto parts store. When we picked up the vehicle Carlos was very patient and responded extremely well to our questions about the repair and preventing a recurrence. We have the utmost respect and admiration for C&S Locksmiths and will not hesitate to use them again for ANY type of lock problem and will definitely tell our friends about them. Lastly, this is only my second review on Google. I was astonished to see some previous negative reviews and strongly urge you to not let them influence you. Instead drop by their shop and see for yourself what a truly professional locksmith shop looks like and experience first hand their excellent people skills and reasonable pricing.

I got an oak file cabinet from my mom but no key. I took out the lock and brought it here. The guy looked inside and cut a key in seconds. Now I have a nice, locking file cabinet.Thanks C&S, I will come back in the future

Called to check thier price to have a key Fob programmed to my car. First I was told that once a key was programmed to another car it could not be programmed again. The dealership said this is an outright lie when I called. Then I asked and was told if I brought a brand new OEM fob and wanted them to program it would be $200... So I asked what about if I bought the key from them, and he told me $225? What a crazy rip off, this place doesn't even want your business unless they can stroke you for $200 or more. Just drove away from an honest locksmith that charged me $49 to program my used key fob and so I had to get the word out about these guys. I won't say who I ended up using in this review so it looks like a competitor wrote it, but don't use these guys, they are only about how much money they can get out of the customer. They will lie and they don't care.

Went there because a few of my car guys told me they were good and knowledgeable. I called they told me if I got my key fob through them it would be 99 for the programming. Then was told they didn't have the one for my car. That if I brought mine in it would be 75. I did. Then was told it was 195 because they didn't know it was the one that I had. It was only 140 at the dealer. So I obviously went with them. The guy that helped me at c & j did help me with figuring out my computer. I tipped him for his time because I was clueless as I just got the car. But I had to give a low star because I was told to go there because they were good and not over priced. I get that it wasn't the right key fob but not only did u already quote me they didn't even work on price. It went up a 120 dollars in a blink. Feel as though I was being had. To bad I would have brought good business.

Well this was my first time there! I needed to get a duplicate ignition key for the car I bought my wife and I was in the area so I stopped in! After calling of course! See, I needed someone to be able to copy the double sided key and it has no chip, thank God! Those chip keys I've heard are very expensive!! These guys have a very large collection of these kind of blanks for cars a 2003 Grand am, and within mere seconds of my arrival, one if the gentlemen behind the counter inquired as to the nature of my visit today. I said I needed a copy key and he jestures to me to hand over the key which I did and he went to work! I'd guess that the key cutting and collecting etc ... Took. Mere 46 seconds and I was on my way! Key worked flawlessly and I'm very happy!!!!

This was the best errand I have run in years! What started out as a bad afternoon, a broken key fab for my car, ended up fantastic. Christian was on duty and not only did he just fix the key fab I had but also explained how it worked and how to operate my car without it. What a great employee. I will and would recommend this shop to anyone that has need of locksmith services. Extemely knowledgeable and friendly staff with a willingness to help, which is a breath of fresh air and a sigh of relief when you find yourself locked out.

We lost our key to our Audi and dealer wanted close to $400 for a new key with fob and programming. I called C & S and they offered me 2 different types and did it today. The man they came out showed up right at given time and said it would take 45 minutes to an hour for the key he had it done less than 30 minutes! I'm very pleased by the affordability and the quickness this all took place .Thank you guys so much!

$20 and a signature you won't fuss if the key does not work. So they know it won't, but they still take your $20.Absolutely dishonest. What if I signed? Does that mean they can fool everybody with a signature? I am hoping, do they?Never their fault since they're hiding under a skirt. But their reputation? Who cares?Much better company when they were operating at the old location.Now... not worth anymore. Beware people, fob keys are iffy but they will never tell you that. Will take your money regardless.Takes them 2 minutes to copy a key that won't work. $20 per 2 minutes, $600 per 1 hour if they find enough people to buy their lies.But you can't complain, you just ducked and they smile.Never again.

great people. great service. great price. I called yesterday to see if they could replace a remote fob for my 11 year old suv. she said sure. $75. I came in five minutes to closing, and not only did she fix it, she reused all the interior from my old fob, and saved me $50, charging me only $25 for the new plastic casing. last week I stopped in and they made me a replacement chipped key for a 2016 wrangler for $75, when Jim click wanted $269 for the exact same thing. I will absolutely do all of my lock and key services here in the future. I highly recommend.
