COVID 19, Three weeks ago, I became a customer of Connect Security. The very same night of my install my second keypad stopped working. I called the sales person Ernest Mendez in Houston to address the issue. Although, I was very unsatisfied with his service as a salesman. He was the least person that I wanted to speak with. I was sold with the package that Brinks offered new customers. I had all the bells and whistles, I was only looking for the upgraded keypads (2). The day of install, Ernest had the installers install a gigantic bulky industrial Keypad in the main entrance and the same for the bedroom. I immediately stopped and asked about the keypad because this is not what we spoke about. While the installed were in my master bed room closet. Ernest stepped in and closed my closet door once he stepped in. My master closet where i have personal items and strangers having a meeting about my system. Long story short, he asked Israel could he uninstall my system and return the old system. Israel advised him that he was almost finished and that he had other customers that day. When I approached the door Ernest closed the door again in my face as he walked out, then stated that Israel was on the phone. The look that I gave him, he finally opened my closet door and proceeded to the front of the house. (Back to my call with Ernest). Ernest called the installers that installed my alarm system and within 30 minutes, I received a call from Israel. Israel asked if he could schedule an appt. for the next day at 12:00pm. We later agreed with 3:00pm. The next day 3:00 came, 4:00, 5:00 calls and text were sent out. No answer, no response. I repeat the text and calls the next day and then days after with the same response. The next week I had a lot to do and was very frustrated with the key pad in the master. Two and a half weeks later on a Saturday evening. I received a call from John McCreary advising me that he was in my area and that he could be at my residence in 5 mins. I declined because I was taking care of business on my day off. I informed him that isreal did not show up nor did he answer my calls or text for days after we schedule to meet. John's response was that some of them guys tested positive for COVID and that they had to quarantine for a couple of weeks. As concerned as anyone would be. I was upset and asked why didn't anyone call me and warned me so that I could go get tested. Why wasn't I called so that I could not pass it over to my family and co-workers. Then Johns changed his story and stated that it was Israel's wife that he sleeps with every night that tested positive, and that he had to quarantine. A fishy story indeed. Israel knew that his wife had COVID. He continued to work as he awaited for his test which could have caused him to expose everyone around him to this deadly virus. That explained the reason why my calls and text went unanswered. I waited until Monday to call Connect Security and spoke to Jennifer the manager. After waiting for her to return my call, she finally returned my call hours later after her investigation with Israel. To save her company and the allegations she stated that Israel did call me several times to tell me. She also stated that HIPPA Laws protects him. In addition, she advised me that he was a 1099 employee and asked did I know what that mean. The nerve of her to ask such a dumb question as she threw fuel in the fire. Bottom line before space runs out. Jennifer advised me that he doesn't have to tell them anything about his health even though he is a contractor assisting Connect Security new customers. Then she asked what could she do to resolve this matter. I specified what I wanted and her reply was; How does that correlate with the situation at hand. My sentiments were if you ask what can you do for me, and I reply do not criticize my answer because it's not what you want to hear. Criticizing my response doesn't make it better. Connect Security will see me in court behind this issue, I am not done with my complaint.

Zero Stars. I switched thinking I was going save money, but I gained a mother-load of headaches. Installation took months to correct, paperless billing is the day it's due; phone app and website are ridiculous to figure out on own. Tech support and customer service are useless also. Can't get anyone that speaks English clearly. FED UP! I think I have hodge -podge set-up.....

The Technician arrived at the scheduled appointment time and was professionally dressed in a clean and neat outfit.His introduction was very polite and courteous and professional.When I explained the situation he paid particular attention to not only the issue but my personal dilemma it was causing. He proceeded by accounting for all the hardware and software, located power supply and all devices employed. He set the system in test mode and determined all devices were operating correctly and isolatedthe problem to the control panel.
