Vey quick very polite thought it would take an 2 hours per car we had two a van and a expedition because our keys were stolen we had to get them replaced bad part was both were chipped keys so it cost more but didnt take long

Reliable, fast, and affordable. Only called one person for a broken key in my front door and he showed up in an hour and a half! Fixed my door in 20 minutes and had a new key to the same lock ready for my right away. He was a nice guy and even pointed out the issue with my door (it was the hinge causing all the problems). Definitely utilizing him from now on for any of my locksmith needs!

This is the second time Ive used All About Locks & Safes. I had requested an estimate for house cleaning from a franchise company in Chico, and after several attempts (phone calls and emails), they wouldnt answer, and had taken my house key. Mind you, Ive been trying to find a house cleaner for a couple weeks. Mike, just like last time I called, came out ASAP and re-keyed my door within minutes. Added bonus? He had a referral for a house cleaner that is a friend of his. She turned out to be exactly what I needed. Thank you again Mike! Highly recommend!

I dont typically lose my keys; however, I lost the key to the U-Haul I had rented to move out-of-state. This was AFTER it was loaded with my car hitched to the back. For several hours, a friend helped me to look through all of the places we thought it could be. A stressful situation to say the least. To make things worse, U-Haul didnt have a spare key since it was a one-way vehicle and it was going to cost $800-$900 to replace with a contracted vendor. Fortunately, the lady at U-Haul suggested calling around to local locksmiths to see if I could find a more reasonable rate. After a brief meltdown, I called the first place that was open, which was All About Locks & Safes. The person who answered the phone was friendly and the cost was reasonable, especially for after hours on a Friday night. I went to use the restroom and, when I was walking back to the truck, it occurred to me that I had never looked inside the trunk of my car where I had shoved a random box earlier. I was so relieved when I found the key, but I also felt really bad for the two locksmiths who had just arrived. I explained to them what had happened and that I was more than willing to pay a fee for them coming out to my location. The driver said that there normally is a fee, but that he would waive it because it looked like Id had a rough day. He didnt know the half of it! Its situations like these that help to restore ones faith in humanity.

I've used them (Michael) for a couple of different jobs - an unusual front door lock re-key and, most recently, reprogramming a set of automotive keys for a Jaguar (odd keys) - both times the service has been outstanding, professional, and a great value for the money. I will call them again for any locksmithing needs I have in the future.

I am sitting in a hospital bed in SF right now and my parents are house sitting my dogs, my mom accidently locked the wrong lock on my front door and couldn't get back in. I have used Michael in the past so I knew exactly who to get ahold of. Within an hour of communicating with him he had his locksmith Trevor out at my house meeting with my mom. Trevor got the door open quickly. I highly appriciate these guys!

My key was stuck in the ignition of my truck for about a week before it finally caught up with me and I locked the key fob inside the center-console. Mike arrived to help within 20 minutes and not only unlocked the truck in less then 2 minutes, but he also fixed my truck ignition and made a new microchip-key there on the spot for a very reasonable price. He turned a pretty crumby morning into an awesome day.

I requested an appointment to rekey some doors. The rep showed up at the wrong time and then decided to leave (with no plan of coming back) he didnt take my name down so he didnt know who he supposed to meet with. When we did finally speak, he was confused about rekeying and stated he was not able to take the job. I wasted about an hour of my time for this man who is disorganized.

This guy is awesome. Was having a multitude of problems with the locks and keyless entry on my 96 Ford Explorer. Met up with him on site at another job about 5 min after talking to him on the phone and he educated me about the issue, took some palliative measures and all but refused to take any cash for it to get my key working again. Back on the road in 5 min. Really nice person who knows his trade well and seems to really like his job. I would always recommend All About Locks & Safes!

A duck ate my spare key to my Jeep. I called him asked if i could get keys made without a spare.. no problem. I broke my module immobilizer on my wrangler a piece of copper wire that catches a signal. Instead of charging me for the original quote he just charge me for the keys he made. then asked to call him back when I got the part for programming. Now here is where he's a bada**. i get off work at 6:00p.m. on thursdays, I asked when he opened that next day. this man went above and beyond and said no problem I'll be there at 6:30. In my opinion that is service. anything I need I'll get from him.
