I'm kicking myself for not getting the name of the gentleman who helped me yesterday morning. When I initially called on Thurs 3/12, the man who answered told me he wasn't sure they could help me. I moved recently and thought I lost my car keys for my 2004 Mazda for which I had no spares. I ordered a transponder key and keyless entry remote online for a much cheaper price than the dealership and needed someone to cut the key and activate it. When I called back yesterday, 3/14/20, the man who answered said he'd be to me in an hour. He was there pretty much in an exactly an hour and it took him maybe 10 minutes to cut the key and get it working. He was very sweet and professional and I'm so grateful to him. Price wasn't too bad ($175) and was worth the peace of mind. Of course, I ended up finding my keys about two hours after he left.

DON'T GO HERE. EXTREMELY RUDE AND INEXPERIENCED STAFF. GO TO ANOTHER LOCKSMITH-- THERE ARE MANY OTHER DECENT ONES IN TOWN. I asked for an auto key replacement, and the locksmith broke my car door, lost a part to my car door and blamed me for it, and couldn't even make the key. He Asked me to come back multiple times to get the key made.. I finally had enough and got a refund after he whined and pleaded with me to let him keep trying, all while swearing and getting extremely emotional over a key transaction. pathetic.

Its 10:45 PM their Google page says closes at 11, I call him and ask if they program key fobs he says 'sometimes I do sometimes I don't' and then asks me why I'm calling at 11pm then he hangs up on me. I truly never write 1 stars but please dont give this guy your business he is absolutely terrible. I can only imagine how awful the service would have been.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY TREAT THE PUBLIC VERY BAD. I CALLED FOR A SIMPLE LOCAL JOB. I WAS COMPARED TO OTHER CLIENTS, MADE TO FEEL LIKE LESS. I WAS TALKED OVER, PUT ON HOLD AND NOT TOLD WHEN THE LOCKSMITH CAME BACK ON THE LINE. I WAS NOT TREATED LIKE A CUSTOMER. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS. CALLED MAIN LINE SATURDAY 02/01/20 IN AFTERNOON. WHOEVER WAS ANSWERING TREATED ME LIKE GARBAGE. I GUESS HIS OTHER CLIENT WAS MORE IMPORTANT BECAUSE HE KEPT TELLING ME HE WAS LOOSING MONEY OVER MY PHONE CALL. I TOLD HIM TO LET IT GO TO VOICEMAIL NEXT TIME......HE SAID NO BECAUSE IT COULD BE AAA (Triple A). SO AGAIN HE COMPARED ME TO ANOTHER more important CLIENT. I RECOMMEND AGAINST USING THIS COMPANY.

Whomever had the office calls forwarded to his cell phone on 02/01/20 needs to be fired. I called 3 times. I was hung up on 3 times. The first time there might have been a misunderstanding, but probably not. The second time I was talked down to in an extraordinarily disrespectful way, and...you guess it - hung up on. The third time I called back was just for clarification that I was still on Earth and not in some bizzare third dimension. I literally had trouble believing what was happening. I was kind, warm, professional and polite (as I have always been). This person was agitated, cynical, condescending, pushy and just all around 110% RUDE. I called a competitor immediately after and I was treated the way a customer should be treated. I WILL ONLY USE CAL COAST LOCKSMITH FROM NOW ON. TRI-COUNTY YOU JUST LOST A REALTORS PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!

I was startled at the level of unprofessional and pushy behavior. Last night I locked my keys in my car at 2 am, and since I dont have roadside assistance as part of my insurance, I started calling around to the local businesses that might be able to help me. I knew it was very late, and was turned down by more than one place. Upon calling Tri-County, I was told it could be done but I would be charged (which I expected) and that it was a very big inconvenience. Thats why nobody wants to help you, he said.Anyway, he moved to take my credit card info before leaving to ensure that I wouldnt bail. Feeling guilty for dragging a man out of bed, I told him not to worry about it (without giving card info) and Id figure something else out, and then the call dropped as I was speaking. I thought he had hung up, so I called a tow company nearby, and they were able to help.A few minutes later I received a text. Not from the same number as I had called, but clearly from the man Id spoken to. Ive attached screenshots of the exchange. Please note that he wanted to charge me $150 for this service- the company I did end up using charged me $50 and showed up within 15 minutes.I dont usually post reviews, but this was...an experience. If your business is listed as open, it is incredibly unprofessional to lash out at a customer over getting a call past midnight.

I just stopped by to try and get an auto key fob programmed. The man working at the time was very dismissive from the start. Almost as if he didn't want to help me or was bothered that I came in and interrupted whatever he was doing. He got some info about my vehicle then went to a different room and came back saying 'it's on board so you can do it yourself'. I'm a customer coming in for service!! I told him I came in because I can't do it myself so he grabbed his little machine and went over to my car. He fiddled with it for 1 minute then he said 'it's your car not the fob' so I ask, 'must it be a sensor or something?' and he unhesitantley said 'I am not a mechanic'. I don't recommend this place to anyone due to their lack of customer service skills. I didn't feel welcomed.

Anytime there is a problem or just need an extra key made, these guys are the best! So reliable, honest and trustworthy without breaking the bank ever! I have had them come let me in when I locked my keys in my office, fixed door knobs and gone for key matching! Anything you need, stop by old town and they will help you ASAP!

Amazing family owned business! Great pricing, immediate service and everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly. They've changed locks out multiple times at my place of business, gotten us into our car when the keys were locked inside, made keys over the phone for filing cabinets that we lost the keys for... changed the combination lock on an old safe we were given... and they have donated on multiple occasions for local community fundraisers including my daughter's preschool. I can't say enough nice things about them. They are amazing!

TOO LOW TO RATE. My 80 year old neighbor locked herself out of her condo unit at 10pm last night and spent the night on her porch. No jacket, no phone NOTHING. She knocked on my door at 5am freezing and asking for help. Been trying to call this supposed 24 hour locksmith. They don't even return phone calls. They S.U.C.K.

Kind of hit or miss. Some employees are friendly, others not so much. They were quite good about repairing locks on my Honda, but wouldn't touch the lock (one of those external pop out hatchback buttons) on a VW. I will probably keep going back for things that are not too complicated for them.

Horrible service, I brought in the entire locking mechanism for the gas tank for a motorcycle and was still charged $50 for them taking it apart and leaving it in pieces and telling me that they couldnt do anything for me, and a wrong copy of a key. So incompetent and the fact that they had the audacity for them to charge me $50 for it. I wasnt expecting it to be free, I just wasnt expecting for it to cost me that much. I would never recommend this place to someone and never come here again
