Lost my only key for Ford exp 1999. Called them for an estimated $ 190.00 tax included. They sent Armando, a very nice guy. He made the key and programmed it in about 30 to 40 minutes. I will definitely recommend this guys.

We just had Alan finish installing a new lock on one of our home doors and re-key a couple of outer doors. From the beginning to the end of this interaction, we could not be happier with all elements of his work. From the office secretary (Erin) who spelled out the probable costs and scheduled a prompt appointment to the work done by Allen, all was perfect. He brought a lock that perfectly matched our other locks, he drilled out a new lock receptacle and installed the lock, giving us the requested 5 keys. The charge was reasonable and fair. Very happy, would use him again in the future and not bother with calling others (we had contacted first) who were not even slightly helpful in our effort to have this job done properly.

Made an appointment, requested new locks for my doors, guy shows up without the locks, without my permission puts in a lock that belongs on a storage door, meaning every time I need to get in my bedroom I have to use a key to unlock my door, , told the guy I didnt want that lock to replace it with the ones I requested, didnt pay for anything since the guy didnt do what I wanted, NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM...

Out of all the other locksmiths in the area, Alan's service was the most affordable. He does not charge extra to come to you. Typically keys take an hour to make (with the chip) and he was able to make it within 10 minutes. Fastest service, Alan was also the most immediate to respond and willing to work around your schedule. Highly recommend!

I lost my car keys and had no Spares. I had called this locksmith place in Santa Barbara and they were charging me over $200 to make me a key and asked for me to get my car towed over to their location And that the process could take an hour. I called ESP they charged me around $170 came to my location and process took less than half an hour! Pretty happy customer.

We have used ESP locksmiths for over three years. His coustomer service is great and his pricing is better than the rest. It's tough when your locked out of your residence or vehicle so Allen is the one to call. We have over 100 locks and ESP gets the business. We have worked with other lock companies in SB county and non of them can compete with ESP locksmiths.

Lost my truck key while parked in a 'street sweeping zone'. Spent the day looking and did not find. Called a 3 different locksmiths. One didn't call me back. One required me to tow my car to their facility and wanted $100 more to cut a key and program it. ESP called me back and came early so I didn't get a ticket or get towed since I was in a 'no parking on Thursday morning zone'. He quickly made and tested my keys and was $100 less. Highly recommend.

Today I locked my keys in the trunk of my VW Passat.. it took all day trying to call places and people to come help me open it. I finally decided to have Alan come help me, he was so close to where I was at with my car anyways. He got my keys out within 5 minutes. A job that should have taken days.. so greatful for his incredibly quick assistance! He was also the kindest and most helpful person I talked to all day, and trust me I have called a lot of people can't thank you enough Alan!!!! Alan was quick to come to my rescue when I was locked out my car! And then like the space head that I am, after I paid him, realized I locked my key in my car again... Not even 5 minutes later. Oops. He assured me I wasn't the first and he got me into my car for the second time. At no charge. Very friendly service, and efficient! I just called to get a quote and he must charge for the destination. He quoted me $160 when everywhere else I called was $125 and lower. When I expected pained that to him all he said was 'ok bye'I found him to be rude, unhelpful and overly priced for something I know would take him no more then 5 mins to do. I'm from Santa Barbara, if he's not from here he should remove himself from local Google search.
