1st off when you call it's a nationwide dispatch service, not a local company. They quote $29 to come out & check out the job then give a quote. No quotes over the phone. I lost the key to my fire safe & the keypad wasn't working. I figured it should be simple for someone who knows what they're doing.The guy that showed up was nice enough but no more able to open the safe than I was. No attempt to pick the lock was made. He said he could open it for $139 but would have to damage the safe to do so. I didnt see paying someone to destroy my safe & then having to buy a new safe as well. I'm pretty good at breaking things myself.On an off chance I called Sentry (Masterlock). They were great. Got the SN from my safe & sending duplicate keys for $36. I feel like an idiot but maybe this will save someone else from the same thing.

I've never needed a locksmith so I didn't know what to expect. At first I called another locksmith I found on Yelp with a 5 star rating and the person via telephone told me somebody would contact me at whatever point they got an opportunity ... nobody wound up calling me so after around 30 minutes of holding up I called these folks (Low Rate Locksmith)(Rocklin ca region) and there was somebody at my door within 20 minutes. In addition to the fact that they are quick it was one of the most wonderful customer service encounters I've had in a long while. I really hope my key never breaks in my door again yet if it does, I realize I'll be in great hands and won't need to hold up excessively long.
