Larry parson quoted $120 to unlock safe when we first called him over the phone to inquire about pricing but the day when he came with his associate to actually unlock the safe he didnt inform us about the new pricing or utter a word about change in price or hike in price and after finishing his work he straight away gave us a bill of $310 which was quite shocking for us and then he said he didnt know until he called his safe company and they charge him more money to crack the code and thats why he charged us $310. I told him that why didnt he tell us before because if that would be the case then we would have approached different company who charge reasonable amount and would have said no to him. Unfortunately ended up paying full amount he gave discount and made it from $310 to $250 which is still no where near to $120. This is insane hike in price. Not very appreciative work done by this company.

I needed to have my locks re-keyed. Wizard sent someone out that did not have the knowledge to do the job. He used a tool and inserted into the deadbolt and in the knob, handed me a set of keys and left. I tried the key in the deadbolt and it worked fine, when I put it in the knob it didn't work at all. I called the office and they sent the young man out again. He said this can't be rekeyed, excuse me you just charged me 78.00 and now you are telling me what I wanted to have done can't be done. He then explained that the knob was one that couldn't be re-keyed, that information would have been helpful in the beginning. He went on to tell me that if I would go and purchase a cylinder he would come back out and put it in. Great now I have spent 78$ more expense for a new cylinder and will have to use 2 keys to unlock my door. Very disappointing because I have heard awesome things about Wizard Lock. I had to go to Lowes purchase a new lock and have a friend install it. I am now out 200$ for something that should have been done right the first time. I too live in OTOW.. Kena Ellis

I had purchased this new condo apartment in OTOW in Clearwater, Florida. My handyman and I worked many hours moving furniture in and out and now we were going to install the new dead bolt lock and door knob which we had just bought at the nearby Lowes. We had already compared this wood door to another wood door at my other house and everything appeared as if all we would need would be a screw driver to change out the bolt and knob. But when we removed the old dead bolt, it had a 1.5 inch hole, and we needed a 2.125 inch holes. No good. To drill out larger holes is not an easy task for a non-professional. So we put the old bolt back in place (couldn't get it to work!). So I left the apartment unlocked overnight. In the morning, I called around and got a few recorders. I left messages. Then I called Wizard Safe and Lock, Inc and a young women answered. We spoke to each other and set up an appointment(between 2PM and 3PM) for that afternoon for the locksmith to come out and do the job. He arrived on time, we spoke, he got all his specialized tools and made short work of the project(about 40 minutes!). The new dead bolt lock and knob were installed and working great! He mentioned that Wizard Safe and Lock, Inc has a nearby store too. I think I will stop by and see the safes that he said they have for sale. He gave me a senior citizen discount too. Cost was $85.

My new 'go-to' for key duplicates! I went to 3 different big named improvement stores to only be told they couldn't copy my key because of its size and shape. I then went to Wizard and they didn't even hesitate to make a copy. Their friendly staff were helpful and had a copy made within a few minutes. All for a reasonable price too! I'll be going back for any future key and lock needs!

Great place! Just got my car key cut from them. I called places that wanted to charge me $150-$100 just to cut my own key. I already bought the key and know how to program it myself I just needed a machine to get it cut and other places are ridiculous on prices. Save yourself the trouble and just go here first! I spent less than $5 here to cut my key when others wanted $150.

I am so pleased with Wizard! If you ever have locksmith or Key needs you must try Wizard Safe and Locksmith in Clearwater on Hercules . Twice now I have given them 'problem' keys and twice they delivered outstanding service,great price, with a smile-- like it was no big deal and they enjoyed the challenge !l. Once was duplication of a key for a scooter.. Its a specialty proprietary key .. I had already ask two locksmiths and they said no .. Wizard said 'no problem' Today I gave them a key to a sliding glass door that is narrow at the top so its not the standard blank---and I wanted it stamped 'do not duplicate' -- I had gone to another locksmith and they tried, could not do it. Wizard took the blank , shaved the side to narrow it and had a machine that stamps keys 'do not duplicate' . 4 custom keys $ 11.24 with tax ! Way to go ! The people there are beyond nice as well. I wish every business was THIS good! Thank you!!
