My lock was broken at my business. One morning I came in and the freaking door is UNLOCKED! At first I thought it was my employee who left it unlocked, but then I realized that it actually looked like it was locked and even made and sound however the mechanism inside it was totally busted! My neighbor recommended using Jax Locksmith Pro. I called them and they were here within an hour and it took them 20 mins to fix the existing lock and I did not have to replace it. I appreciated that they didnt try to up sell me on a new lock and saved me money by fixing the one I have! Great work! Will be calling yall again!

Boyfriend and I got locked out of our apartment so our maintenance recommended them to us. Boyfriend calls them, a guy gets there in 15 minutes and asks us is it the top lock(deadbolt) or the bottom lock(door knob)?. It was the door knob that was locked. When we get up to the apartment he looks at our door knob, jiggles it a bit and immediately stated yeah Im going to have to drill into it and replace it.Come to find out by talking to a friend the next day, we couldve just shoved any card (i.e. credit card) into the door, wiggle it a little, and it wouldve unlocked. We tried it, and it worked immediately. So we paid $160 when we really didnt need to.Im giving them 1 star because as a company that specializes in locks, I highly doubt that they didnt know you could easily unlock a door with the simple card trick. Instead, they just took the route to just get the most money out of us. It felt slimy and we feel scammed.Completely understand that we shouldve done more of our own research, a simple google search and we couldve tried the card trick prior to calling for assistance and were definitely mad at ourselves for that, but there was no looking out from the company. They didnt care, they just wanted our money.

The technician called and said he was 10-15 minutes out. He did not show up until 1 hour later. I needed locks changed and so he started to get to work. I didnt ask how much the service was going to be, shame on me. When he was done all but 20 minutes later, the total bill for 2 locks changed and a set of keys came out close to $500. I wasnt going to argue this price because the service was already rendered. But this company is deceptive. Always ask how much it's going to cost before they start. But this company overcharges and you are going to get hit with a huge bill. Buyer beware, just call somewhere else. They have ads on google that will bring them to the top of the list under the name 24hr/jaxlocksmithpro.
