Called Charlotte County Safe & Lock after locking myself out of my office. Very friendly service on the phone, very quick response, and professional service in the field. They got me in the door and made me an extra set of keys so hopefully I'll have a backup next time! Even though it was kind of a bummer unexpected expense, the price seemed reasonable and fair to me. Had a blank key, and the original key, needed the blank key cut for a motorcycle.Went to Home Depot they could not cut the key.Ace Hardware could not cut the key.Called 3 different locksmith they couldn't cut the key for a motorcycle.Called Charlotte County Safe and Lock they said bring the key and the bike. They cut the key and it worked perfect. I would recommend them to anyone. David Williams

Prompt service and reasonable rates: locked my only key in the trunk of a 1996 Jaguar; phoned Charlotte County Safe & Lock at 3p and lock expert technician Cody was at my car within 50 minutes. This was a complicated situation (no power locks, no key fob, non-removable backseat, etc.), but Cody showed up prepared and equipped. With his expertise and calm demeanor, Cody was able to pop open the locked trunk within 10 minutes with no damage to my car or the trunk mechanism ... and I was able to successfully and happily retrieve my only key. (Importantly, Cody saved me a lot of potential heartache and money, because in order to have a key made the car would have been towed from my home to the dealer - and that might not have turned out so well.) The people at Charlotte County Safe & Lock are knowledgeable professional technicians with advanced skills - they are also personable and friendly. CAN'T GO WRONG WITH AN HONEST, RELIABLE LOCKSMITH!!!!After having been stood up yesterday by another locksmith, I contacted this outfit and am so glad I did. The gentleman I spoke to, Mr. Bob Brown assured me that someone would be at my house to take care of the problem between 10 and 11 AM this morning. Bob even showed me such courtesy by calling and saying that Zach might be a few minutes late because he had 2 emergency car lock-outs, but that he would be showing up at my door next....and here he is.This courtesy call made me feel like a VALUED customer, and that is so rare here in Florida - I've lived here 38 years so I know!!!Zach is a real professional, courteous and expedient and did a great job. Deceptive and unconscionable business practices. Bait and switch pricing. They tell you one price over the phone then charge you double when they finish the job. BUYER BEWARE. I gave up on Charlotte Safe & Lock and found other locksmiths who offer better service and lower prices. My clients are happy with them as well.

This might be the worst business is history. I called at 2:20 PM the office lady took all my information and said someone would be at my location in around 45 min. NO ONE CALLED OR SHOWED. I called back after 1 hour 20 min and was informed the tech was just finishing up and would be on his way. 45 min later NO CALL NO SHOW,, Almost 2 hours went by and BOB called and wanted to know what kind of lock it was. Informed him it was a RV door lock- He never SHOWED Never CALLED. LAST call to the office and the lady in the office said BOB didn't know how to open that kind of lock..KEY WORD LOCKSMITH.. And requested another tech to come out. The office still could not give me a time when he would show.. I was very upset and the Office Lady told me to call someone else.... WHAT A JOKE!!! 4 hours wasted trying to get a simple lock opened.

This company destroyed my door lock, meaning I have to leave it unlocked all the time. When asked what I was supposed to do now to access my car, I was told that it had nothing to do with them and that he hadn't touched the lock (even though I had just seen them do so repeatedly).Incredibly, AAA use this company, so they are helping my to get this damage repaired, but it wont replace the wasted afternoon I just had being messed around by this company, or the money I paid them to be worse off than I was before they 'rescued me'.

No communication and the price is outrageous...the only reason I went with these guys is because of my AAA discount but come to have it they didn't cover your door key with my membership just your ignition key which was $140 minus $50 for my discount. On top of that they wanted to charge me another $110 for a door key and a steering wheel pull! ARE YOU JOKING!!! All of this came after he did the work... Did a little research to find out most locksmiths would have charged me $140 for everything. Do your homework beforehand people...they took advantage of me!

Terrible experience. We had them re-key a door for us and it turned out the keys didn't work. They charged us again to come out and re-key it because the tenant couldn't get in. Very dishonest - stay away from this company.
