I am absolutely blown away at the help and service I received!! Truly grateful for the fact that these guys were able to help make a new key for me after my key for my motorcycle was lost. Like never to be found lost. I was looking at having to replace alot of parts and spend alot of time trying to fix my bone head error. Instead I was able to bring my ignition to Joe and they turned it around in about an hour. Totally grateful and will be going to A-1 for any keys I need!!!

We needed a new key for an ignition we had just put in moms 2001 Buick. The new one did not work at all. Not realizing the original key was a chip key. I called and spoke with Wayne who was awesome. He came out within an hour of initially making the call to him, new key was made and programmed and car started right up. They are 24 hours as well. Thanks again Wayne!

Made an appointment, no one called nor showed up. When I called the office they said they could not get a hold of the tech. I should at the very least have gotten a call saying they are running behind or anything. Unprofessional!Response:Wow! Well, this just confirms your professionalism. The nice lady I spoke to yesterday VERY clearly instructed me that you will be there between 1 and 2PM, that someone will call me about 30 before someone shows up. I told her that I needed had appointments starting at 2:15, she assured me that you will be timely. You called me after 2PM. No one apologized, you actually were quite rude on the phone. And then you call me a snowflake? I wish you all the best in the future.

Horrible, just HORRIBLE!! My husband was locked out of our car at 5:30 in the morning he called A1 and initially he was told it was going to be a 25 to 30 minute wait! By 6:30 am still no A1 so he calls back the same lady answers and RETAKES his info as if it's a NEW CALL! By 7am still no A1 so I called Pop A lock ( mind you itsi 7am) pop a lock arrived 16 minutes later! Still no sign of A1 then shortly after we arrive home because Pop a lock opened the car for us A1 had the audacity to call and say they were on their way!! Like you guys can't be serious?? Terrible recommendation Google! They should not be number 1 on the pop up list when searching for a locksmith! Wish I could i have given them 0 stars

I never write reviews but in this situation I feel like I have to. I locked the remote garage opener and my cell phone my garage, my house has a back alley garage that isn't able to be accessed from the main house and has no side door or key access. After calling multiple locksmiths across St. Pete / Tampa and explaining the situation most told me there was nothing they could do, one even showed up and left immediately after realizing the scope of the situation. A1 was the only company willing to give it a shot. The technician (wish I had his name) arrived at my house and within an hour we had the garage open. I cannot say enough about the work that was done - had I not been able to get the garage open I was told I'd have to cut / replace the entire garage door (a job that would have cost thousands). Thank you for the work you guys did! Will definitely be using A1 for all my future locksmith needs.

Fantastic customer service. I went in for a basic (non chipped) ignition key for my Suzuki vehicle. I was a little concerned that it would be more expensive, seeing as how Suzuki of America doesn't exist anymore, but I was wrong. They made a duplicate key for me in minutes, and it was less than $6. I would recommend this shop to anyone! Thank you so much for your great service!

While they were prompt I paid $200 and the second key issued to me does NOT work for my car. The technician said the key was cut a little off and should turn my ignition over. All the key does is allow me to turn on my accessories and in a time I needed to use my spare key this was most an unfortunate discovery

Very unprofessional, didnt have the correct equipment lied like he did .. stated he would be a little over an hour Didnt answer the Phone he was upset when we called from a different phone asked why were he overcharging for service other lock companies were charging $100 under after Waited another 30 mins called shortly after the owner WAYNE PARKER told my sisters and I He was not coming back due to us trying to somewhat have a plan B because he seemed sketchy from the jump and very sarcastic didnt Even let us use his charger his customer service suck starting to think he didnt know what he was doing from the jump .. A BIG SCAM!!

Went there this morning I needed an original key made for a kwikset smart lock. After insulting the lock I was told that the only way to do it was to drill the lock out which would then ruin the smartlock feature. I attempted to tell the person that the cylinder could be taken out and she told me I was nuts. Went to another locksmith, it took 8 minutes to create the key, smartlock still functional. If you don't know what your doing best to keep quiet and politely say you don't have the knowledge or equipment to do the job. Take your business elsewhere. You are 100% correct I guess I should have smiled, let you destroy my lock and then thanked you for being as incompetent and unknowledgable as you are. It's disappointing that I knew more than you did about the smartlock. Your response sums up your complete disregard for customers.

To everyone. Google does not give the option to state that the locksmith store is open from 8:30-5pm M-F, 8:30-12noon on Sat; closed on Sunday...BUT they do have 24 hour service for the road jobs. Either they tell Google that they will be 'closed' and get no after hours phone calls, or tell Google that they are open 24hrs and disappoint some people that don't understand keeping the doors open for overnight walk up traffic doesn't pay the bills! They try to do the best they can, but they also need some time for themselves too. It is not their goal to disappoint people, however please understand the nature of the Locksmithing business before you write a bad review.
