Another review said the grumpy guy had retired. He was back today, grumpy as usual. He re-keyed my lock to work with my new key. No problem even though I hadn't brought the original key. He grumbled about it so I said 'Don't you like a challenge?' His reply was 'No, I don't like stupid'. Technically competent, socially inept.

Although I cant comment on an actual 'on location service experience, this business took the time on the phone to get me out of a sticky situation with a lock. They were polite, efficient and accurate and I will be contacting B & D Lock & Key the next time I need any services for my home.

COULD NOT POSSIBLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!After having made an appointment for 3 PM at my home, and by 3:30 not having heard anything, I called and had to leave a message since they claimed office hours from 8 AM to 5 PM and to just leave a message they would get back to me. An hour passed, still no locksmith showing up at my door, nor a return phone call. Finally around 5 I called them again and said I would not contact them again, but could not believe a BUSINESS would be that careless with customers. I have lived in Florida for 38 years and realize there are quite a few businesses that operate this way, but I always find some that are courteous and show up when and where they are supposed to! So people, heed my words, find someone RELIABLE!!!! and this place is not it!

We traveled from out of state to enjoy a family condo. However I left the keys back home. Since our arrival was Sunday everything was closed. Chad from B&D arrived quickly and had us in within minutes. Service was great, price was very reasonable for off-hours response. We recommend them and will call them first if locksmith services are needed again.

Liars. Call at 10am on sat they said to meet them at their 'warehouse' @ 1pm. Waste an hour and a half waiting by their storefront and not only do they never show up, they refused to answer the phone!! Completely inexcusable!!
