This review is long overdue (given disruption caused by COVID-19). I reached out to The Real Sandy Springs Locksmith after coming across this business online earlier this year. I had recently purchased a new home and needed all locks updated. Daniel Barber was my locksmith and he was AWESOME! Knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and TRUSTWORTHY are all words I would use to describe Daniel. I was very impressed and sincerely appreciated that he took the time to help me understand my lock system. I couldn't have asked for a better locksmith and having someone I could trust was a high priority! My organization had a room full of old file cabinets a few weeks ago with who's keys went missing during an office relocation. The sensitive nature of the files also mean they were very difficult to access without a key. Daniel Barber was the Locksmith assigned to us and he was awesome! Daniel Barber from Sandy Springs Locksmith came out to my home today to work on our doors. The worst of our locks was from the 80s and always jams up on us. He was so friendly and fixed 3 of our doors so efficiently. Now our locks slide like butter and work perfectly. Not to mention the weather was really bad today, and he was in and out of the pouring rain but kept a smile on his face the entire time. Daniel Barber was my lifesaver this past weekend. On Friday afternoon I discovered that our hot water heater had burst and flooded our basement. We were able to arrange to have a new one installed Saturday morning. When Saturday morning arrived, we realized we couldn't find the key to our basement door and the installer needed to access the door to move the old unit out and move the new one in. Daniel to the rescue! Even though he had several commitments that day, he worked us in and arrived approximately one hour after being called. He was quick, efficient, and personable. Sandy Springs Locksmith was the first suggestion in a Google search and I just knew they were going to tell me it would be a crazy amount of money to fix. NOPE!! 4 bucks!!! We first used Sandy Springs Locksmith around 1991, when we moved to the Buckhead area. We haven't needed a locksmith often, but when we have, we called Sandy Springs Locksmith. Recently, we decided to do something about several locks that weren't operating smoothly, and finally replace the front door lock that required its own key.Daniel Barber came today. He got 7 door locks operating smoothly and replaced the front door knob lock with one with the same key as our other knob locks.'Craftsman' is the word that came to mind, as I watched him skillfully solve all of our lock problems, and good craftsmen are valuable assets!
