We recently needed a car key replacedsidewinder type metal key part fitted into the plastic car-unlocking remote. Because of the anti-theft chip embedded in the plastic part of the key, replacement wasnt possible by just getting a new key cut. We called several places to get price quotes, and Omega Locksmith had by far the most competitive pricemuch better (over $100 less in some cases) than any of the dealerships we called. We called about half an hour before we planned to come in, they confirmed that they had the necessary make/model/year version on hand, and we came right over. The whole process was quick and efficient. The locksmith came out to our car to test that the new key worked just as well as the other one that we still had, and we were on our way home less than thirty minutes later. We got a quality key replacement for less time and money than others were offering. Thanks, Omega Locksmith!

I was consistently told I could only get a new programmed key from Landrover service. The dealer charges $500 simply because they can. Then I found Omega Locksmith and they replaced and programmed a new key for only $250. These folks really can program all types of car keys. Don't waste money at your dealer, go to Omega. Thank you.

Great technician, awesome service. Made 2 new keys for my Ford Fusion. Showed up within an hour and got the job done quick. Bought the car used and never knew the keyless entry code which they were able to pull and provide me for free incase I ever lock my keys in . I wish there was less than 1! Called in the morning and set up a 5:30 appointment and was told to call when I was close. Called back at 4:40 to let them know I would be there soon. Called back at 5:45 and was told Jose went home for the day and to call back tomorrow. Not only is 24 hour service advertised but I had an appointment! Unreliable!

I called in December and the lock technician did not show up, I called again and scheduled someone to come today and after waiting 5 hours today still a no show. I called spoke to guy who said he was the owner and he basically told me how it was my fault because he gave us an estimate in 2016 and we didn't call him back. He also stated that he has no control of the technician. I'm unsure as to how he is the owner speaking to his customer this way. Very unprofessional , don't waste your time with this company.

I began to panic when I realized I'd lost my car keys. I drive a 2009 Dodge CaravanMy keys are the ones with the computer chips. I called my local dodge dealer and was quoted a price of $400.00 for 1 new remote key. I quickly searched Google for a local Chicago locksmith and thats when I found Jose from Omega Locksmith in Chicago. Jose was able to drive to me and open up my mini van and make me two new transponder keys for the same price as the dealer and I didnt have to spend the money on a tow truck. I highly suggest Omega Locksmith. I lost my car keys. The dealer had the wrong code for the car and was unable to make me a new key. Unbelievable! Another locksmith I called was also unable to make me new keys. They were at the house quickly and it took some time because they had to decode my lock. But they did it! So thankful. I thought I was going to have change my locks which would have been much more. Thank you again Omega Locksmith.

Had a great experience with Omega Locksmith this morning. I lost my car keys and called Jose who quoted me $195.00 for a new transponder car key to my 2007 Toyota Camry When he showed up in his fancy futuristic work van he was extremely friendly. He immediately opened my car and proceeded to make me a new chip key for what he quoted me over the phone. This was a very positive experience and I'd definitely recommend Omega Locksmith in Chicago.

Great service at a great price! I lost my keys during busy rush hour traffic in Chicago. I easily found & called Chicago Car Keys and spoke to Jose. He was attentive and willingly gave me options to help me. Jose arrived quickly to my location and immediately began to work. He was professional from the initial phone call thru the payment. I wish there was something lower than 1 star. They advertised 25min wait but I was sitting on the side of the road waiting for them almost an hr. Tried to call them back and they hung up on me 3 times!! Never even got a return call from the technician they sent out. I called jose to make me a new push to start key for my Nissan at 815 pm. He arrived to my home within 25 minutes. His price was more affordable them the dealer and other lock Smith's that I had called. When he arrived he had a very professional set up and transponders for all makes and models. Idk why I'm reading good reviews unless the person working today 6/26/16 didn't want to be there. It's been 4 hours when I was told it would be a 1 for them to call me back to help me get my keys out of my car. The guy on the phone gave me information very nicely but I've been waiting hours with a baby to get a call and nothing. If they were booked up at least tell me so I can make more phone calls.

I will let you guys know, this place has saved my ass twice now! About 3 years ago I left my car keys inside the car while locked and I scrambled around for a company to help me out, these guys were the first ones to help. And that was 3 years ago, George came by and gave me his direct line and I've had it saved on my phone ever since even though I'm actually from Holland, MI. Then this past weekend I lost my keys at a concert and so what did I do? I looked through my phone and saw I still had Georges number saved. It was the biggest relief ever. He came right over and got me a new key and I was able to make it home on time as schedule. Appreciate the work you guys do!
