I called around to get a price quote on getting a key made for my 2007 Chevy Cobalt. Every place I called wanted to charge me an excessive amount of money. Until someone referred me to Elmer & Son Locksmiths. I spoke with Rob. I gave him an explanation of the problem I had with the key. he quoted me a good price, and was very nice and professional over the phone. So me and my wife went there earlier today to the location. We met Rob. He helped us right away. This place is very professional and courteous to their customers. I'll recommend them to anyone! Thanks again fellas!!

They won't do any custom work. Have a roll top desk lock trying to get new lock or make a key for. They looked at it and told me they never seen a lock like it so they pushed me out the door.

I lost my keys to my truck and the dealer said they couldn't help me because my vehicle was older than ten years old and their database does not go back that far. Atfer calling numerous locksmiths that turned me down or didnt answer they guys responded via email in less than a day. Three weeks later I go to their shop to get more information and Mr Hobbs said he had time to make my keys the same day . he traveled 45 minutes and made my keys in 30 minutes what a true blessing

They appear to be capable and qualified locksmiths. Their shop is well stocked with a variety of replacement keys, locks, and safes. The shop has obviously been around for many years. They programmed a replacement remote for my vehicle in ten minutes, but they only had one in stock. The gentleman that assisted me needs to work on his customer service techniques, because I didn't feel welcomed in to their shop, for whatever the reason. It could simply be he has the personality of a dead branch.

Don't Trust these Guys Read some of the reviews and I agree RUDE! To say the least at this point in or out of the store doesn't matter! But let me go on, took my Marks mortise lock in so it could be matched for a new lock purchase gave the guy my lock he turned the key and saw that the deadbolt would no stay out and saw that maybe it could be fixed, someone was working on it I could hear him turning the lock also saw one of the guys with it but look thirty mins later oh they found a piece that was broken inside! Really ok how much is a new lock! $256.00 well now! Ok a little bit more than I want to pay! When I called the door store $99.00...internet $119. Plus humm...so I am a DIY... let me see I YouTube opened the box inspected my self yes I found the part that was broken the part that holds the handle I also know that both sides had been switched out never had a copper color in this box and noticed the other handle holder had more dings than before! Is this because I am a woman Really! Oh I know women don't know anything...! Well I have you know, if I was smart enough to take the LOCK OUT I would have to know a little something.. moral of this story is take pic before you allow them to take your lock in the back! don't TRUST THESE Guys...thanks for allowing me to know you can't be trusted...
