I lost my only set of car keys and didn't know where to begin. It was the kind of key that needed to be programmed and I had no idea where to begin. I called A-Able and the owner explained very clearly what information I needed to get and what the process was. He showed up and made a key in no time. Great service, I highly recommend!

Sorry for the delayed feedback! Mr. James he`s really professional key maker, no matter what kind a key or lock you have if he said he`ll make it he will make it. When i want to make a replacement key for my 2012 Hyundai Accent i checked with few lock smith location but they want $80 but when i called Able Lock Mr. James said he will make it for $25. It was quick and so professional, I highly recommend it and check with A-ABLE LOCK first before you call anybody else you will nor regret it.

I had a wonderful experience when I was in bind. I was visiting from Texas and a citation happened to where I needed a vehicle key made ASAP! This gentleman was not only fast but VERY affordable and he even cut out a key that I provided. (Only company that said yes to cut my key) Then to top it all off he even contacted me the next day to check to make sure the key worked. Amazing service and will be recommending to all for sure.

So James came to my house and the job was to turn one of my truck keys into a switch blade style key. It was not an easy task, but he stuck with it and even though it took a while, I got exactly what I payed for. Good deal, and good service. Owner has been making keys for 35 years. Easy going gentle man! He responded to my calls and texts. My key was broken in two and he was able to make a replacement.Pricing is reasonable and he applies a discount for all additional keys! So happy I can get inside my house!

My boyfriend had horrible experience today with this grumpy old man. Tried to get a transponder key quote and when we didnt say yes immediately he got rude and short. Then when the other locksmith quoted us more and my boyfriend called him back he wouldnt answer. My boyfriend told him it was bad business and he flipped out and said he had an attitude. Who doesnt shop around? Thats how you get the best deal. He refused to do the work he quoted because we shopped around. Very disrespectful and shouldve known better than trust an old man that works a business out of his house. Do not recommend this company. Instead go to mobile locksmith Indianapolis LLC. Great customer service and was prompt, polite. And gave us the quoted price that he wouldnt do the work for after ignoring us.

I drove my 2010 Chevy Malibu to A-Able Lock and James programmed 2 Key Fob remotes that I purchased from an outside vendor. He was very clear that he could not guarantee they would work and would have to charge his time regardless of results. I was fortunate that they both worked and he completed the job very quickly and at a good price. I would certainly recommend them and will use them again if necessary.

I called them and got disappointed fast.... I talked to someone and they advised me a cheaper price... They advised me that the lock smiths will give me a call... After waiting 4 hrs no one called me.. I called them back to see what happened they advised me to call someone else ...they need a better staff

My boyfriend went to get a copy of my car key made yesterday. For the work he had to do taking my key apart to make the spare he charged a good price. It deff would have been more somewhere else (i looked around) and he made communication easy for me with me being at work. Will be doing business again in the future.

Needed an automotive ignition cylinder lock repaired as my van key would not turn in the ignition and allow the van to start. They fabricated a new van key, transferred the chip from the old key and repaired the ignition cylinder. Losing your car keys is often a sudden and immensely frustrating situation. In times of emergencies like these, only great customer service can make your day better. A-lock went above and beyond for their service. I requested emergency vehicle keys. Their price was the most competitive of the locksmiths I had to call. Moreover they showed up extremely promptly. I felt they were trustworthy from speaking to them over phone as they explained to me patiently and thoroughly how they would make the key. They are not only knowledgeable and experienced but also honest. When the service personnel James arrived, he was courteous and professional. Absolutely, positively, unequivocally, Able Lock & Key Service is the place to go!!! James is right on point, knows what he is talking about, explains things very thoroughly, and provides options that save you money and time, and these options delivery!!! This is the first time that I have needed to go to a locksmith, because I needed additional copies of a programmable key, and this is also the first time that I remember needing to go to a locksmith in 20+ years since most of my key needs have been the simple jobs that Lowe's or The Home Depot can handle. Should I ever need to have a key cut and programmed again, or should I have a problem with a steering column ignition switch or something of the sort, James and Able Locksmith is the place that I will visit for sure and the one that I highly recommend!!!

I was in a tight spot when my Honda Odyssey ignition cylinder failed. ... everybody, including the dealer wanted to just replace the whole switch at a hefty cost! James rebuilt my cylinder for me AND took the microchip from my old key and put it into a newly cut laser key. The rebuilt cylinder works like a dream! Fair prices and friendly service, there IS NO OTHER locksmith I will ever use!!

The key to my lexus broke in half while I was driving, I hurried home parked the car, it took the jaws of life to turn off the car and remove the broken key out so I could turn it off. I then called the Lexus dealership asking for information on what to do. I have always took my car there more expensive but I sleep better knowing they have worked on my car. I was told to bring the car there or have it towed, they would have to make a plastic moldof the front driver door and the steering column and send it off to be make when it returned they would program the key...there cost. $1,000. I was also informed that they were the only people that could do it. Able locksmith was referred by a friend. His service was prompt, he was very pleasant, a great guy who enjoys what he does, and does it well. He actually called me to see if the key worked. Have a 2008 Infinity with the chip in the key. He had one with chip, programmed it and works flawlessly. The key chip is quirky but he handled it easily and charged much less than the dealers price at $300+. Will use again in the future!! Thank you.

I was very Impressed! after taking them a, what I thought was an impossible lock cylinder?
